WHY is the breakdown bug NOT BANNABLE and STILL IN THE GAME?
If it affects killers, it doesn't matter right? Just had a 4 man abuse the breakdown bug with no mither bringing petrified oaks on Yamaoka. Literally nothing I could do after they created literal hook deadzones on the opposite side of the map from the basement. Not to mention I got cucked by the unhook bug which is somehow still in the game. Seriously devs, what's going on here?

Because it's a bug that favors survivors, it's not bannable. Because survivor fun>killer fun. Historically true as well. Remember the wake-up bug?
If it was a killer bug, as has been seen in the past, the devs would put a warning in game and ban killers for it. Remember double blades Legion?

But BHVR fixed it, they even said so. And they definitely tested everything to make sure that there is no possible way the issues with stunning with pallets would exist.

It isn't. The Legion exploit being bannable is the exception to the rule. It was only a few months after Legion's release and he was still exceedingly popular. The exploit was in almost every game.
I've seen six Breakdown's. Four of which were in a SWF.
Many other "exploits" weren't bannable. The combine tech, window tech, CJ tech, stretched res and J-flick are all "exploits" that are not bannable.

So when survivors got permanently banned for abusing the Asylum exploits a while ago? Oh, we don't talk about that because it doesn't fit your agenda.
To further prove you are completely wrong and just biased, according to your own logic why isn't the J Flick bannable? Why wasn't it fixed already since it doesn't benefit survivors in any way?

survivor bugs = fixed in 4 years.
Remember that bug with legion and his deep wound addons? Bannable. They didn't even bother disabling the addons, just banned you instead

More like they were trying to tweak pallets because of all the hit through pallet complaints on the forums.
When the stun does work it is instant for me now instead of the small delay it had. I have even been teleported into the pallet when backpedalling or just walking near one being dropped.

like, can we stop with this us vs. them mentality. the legion blade add on exploit was the only bannable exploit for killers- and it was only because it took the game hostage since it took so long to mend

I've notice the bug where I don't get stun if I swing at a pallet and the survivor drop it on my head but I play both side and that happen maybe 10% of the time even less.
There's definitively something but I don't seem to be able to produce it on will.
From personal experience with bug testing, being able to reproduce a bug at will really help the dev/guy who does the scrip to know exactly what line of coding should be redone.
Thing is some bug like the Breakdown one, it happen 100% of the time when you use that bug so it shouldn't be hard to know what's wrong.

But that is just for one survivor, it takes a total of 12 hooks, to kill all 4. If you get 4 of the mwith breakdown, nad htey exploit it your left with very little hooks

I mean, sure the perk is broken. So what, is BHVR supposed ban everyone who simply equips the perk they broke?
If it was actually a big deal to BHVR they would simply fix it. Same with the chest loot bug.
Regardless of how anyone feels about it they definitely won't be banning 10%+ of their customers, that's just bad for business and for the overall health and longevity of the community and the game.

It feels like BHRV could just input something quickly to prevent breakdown being used for now until they actually resolve it.

I think they should just disable the perk until they fix it. It's game breaking bug and you could take the game hostage if you wanted. Survivors literally cannot die if they bring perk like no mither.

The issue is the double standards of BHVR. If there's a game breaking bug that helps the killer, you will get banned for it. If there's a game breaking bug that helps survivors you have to tough it out until they get around to patching it.
When legion had double mending add ons exploit there was an announcement as you turned on the game "This is an exploit and anyone caught using it will be banned" Yet when there's a survivor exploit nothing happens? Explain how the devs aren't survivor favored? You can't because they are.

Just a theory I have, but I believe they cannot just disable any teachable perk due to the adapts and achievements/trophys on the consoles.
I believe they can't submit changes that would prevent those from unlocking in any way, both Sony and Microsoft are big on that.
It's also why changes to keys and the hatch will take so dang long to be done. Maps and add-ons aren't affected in this way, and could be switched off much easier.
My theory though, but it fits.

And don’t forget that survivors could get stuck in mountains and and couldn’t stun killers and the killer hook bug was fixed in a couple days and let’s not forget that Blights J flick is an exploit and yet nobody has been banned

Probably because that isn't no where close to as broken as breaking every hook on the map. You can still rush gens and get out. J flick can only be done by a handful of killers anyway. ALL survivors can break hooks. If all hooks are broken, your not near the basement and everyone is running No Mither than the killer can't make any progress.

But it’s a killer exploit how come the devs that you claim are survivor sided have not banned anyone using the J flick? I know they said it’s getting removed but how come they haven’t done it in a couple of days like you guys claim there only fix survivor bugs and never ban there exploits

Pallet bug is pretty random unlike break down which is a perk and can be constantly abused.

so what does this breakdown bug do? Havnt use breakdown in a while. I use Urban Evasion, Deliverance, Dead Hard, and After Care.

Some are merciful. For example, I got a survivor the other day with it. Picked them up and let them wiggle away.
(They still raged at me after the game despite giving them a freebie...)

The mountain bug was waaaay too situational, no one went here anyways. Also they made an in-game warning if you were dumb enough to just go to that SPECIFIC corner.
Also yeah its confirmed that j-flick is an exploit and yes, i do think its unfair and technically blight now might be considered pay2win, since console players cant do this exploit. But once again, you need to face one requirement which is situational as well: the killer must be blight.
But talking about exploits, you know what one i have to deal with and eat EVERY DAY? The hook bug. When someone unhooks their friend, the guy in the hook gets inside the unhooker, and guess what body has priority to take a hit. The unhooked guy always with bt. Thanks for making me useless as killer.

Stretched res? (4 years vs a few months) although there is the rare nurse or hillbilly that uses it i guess. (Hillbilly honestly makes sense since his pov sucks rn)

First of all, it's not bannable because there are people unaware of the bug, so you can't really punish someone unaware (new players, hardcore Jeff mains, people who play for fun and don't really keep up with all the bugs since there are so many, ect.)
Secondly, the bug isn't fixed because bhvr is slow and it takes a lot of time and effort to find, recreate and fix a bug.
