Can empathy counter knockout??

I know that bond can counter knockout because I had bond playing against a killer that had knockout & I was able to see the aura of the downed survivor. Probably a dumb question but can empathy see a person when a killer has knockout??

    Yes, the description says it works on injured and dying survivors.
