Can we talk about the ridiculous censor
At first i found it funny but its coming off dumb now. the phrase "#########" is censored. Not kill, but yourself is censored by itself lol. For context i was asking why someone was suiciding on hook. Yun jin's name is sometimes censored as well. But the sware for crap is not. even though i think it is on here, #########. Anyways you guys find any other funny instances of behaviors odd censor bleeping out things that make not sense? or not bleeping things out?

I would like to talk about the censor, but you have to admit, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], so if you really think about it, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] a [REDACTED] [REDACTED].
But that's just my [REDACTED]. I don't know what everyone else [REDACTED] about this.

What do you mean dude the ####### is working ######. I just hope that it #######.

uhm... that’s a phrase that definitely should get censored though.

whys that? its a base part of the game? obviously in the wrong context it should be reported, but censored? Thats a bit dumb considering the game we are playing and mechanics involved.

I mean.. sacrifice yourself is the better term to describe it in-game. Or giving up. Or letting go.
there are many ways to describe the actual in-game mechanic that are better fitting than that.

we have a report function for people who are nasty, and they should be reported. We should not be curving the way we talk around those people. That's illogical if we have the report function. I'd agree if that didnt exist.

The report is not gonna take those harmful messages away from those people that may not be mentally fit enough for those kind of nasty messages.
sorry, but the forums have shown that MANY MANY people had big problems with this kind of end game chat. There were multiple posts complaining about that.

including me, agree to disagree. People who are hurt by words by playing an online game need to reevaluate how they look at online interaction. This is the internet people will always be #########

this is not the internet but one Videogame. And the devs don’t want that kind of talk. And there is obviously a big part of the community that has a problem with this as well.
if you get hurt by not being able to talk like that in end game chat that’s kind of your problem. There is definitely no need to formulate texts like this.

you dont understand what im saying. This one videogame exists online. That is the internet. The phrase shouldnt be associated with those nasty people and i refuse for nasty people to dictate how i talk end of story. You can bend your knee to these people all you want to protect those who are sensitive that doesnt mean i have to agree with you or think you are right. We should report the people who abuse language and they should be held accountable. Not restrict our language. The real issue is that the devs dont want to act on these nasty people because there goes a paying customer. So in order to appease the people who have been complaining about the nasty side of the fan base without alienating said nasty fanbase they did this bs, at least thats my theory. And regardless of your opinion it is bs

The issue is that many normal words get censored. I don't care if bad words and insults are censored. Steam does this anyway, but at least it works.

Completely agreed on that. And the devs do agree as well, and it was stated they are actively working on the system and improving it so that harmless stuff doesn’t get censored.
