I feel addons should be permanent

For both sides

I feel like they should work similarly to Perk progression, but subtract a small bit of Bloodpoints from your overall game.

I know it's a bad idea, just tell me how bad it is in the comments

insta heal every game, bnp every game, tons of charges on items every game, keys that physically cannot ever be destroyed because you can just throw infinite addons that keep it in any situation, it just not balanced

they're not balanced by being consumed, the game you bring these things to is going to be absolutely stomped. these things aren't okay just because they're a one-game-per-use kind of thing. if anything i would love to play around with different addons without having to actually spend them, and we can bring all the standout awful stuff into line under the assumption it will actually see regular use instead of just being "i want to win this match thank you".

I've heard of the idea of it being a loadout point system. That'd be better. If BHVR can correctly rate the value of add-ons, then it would be a system of trade-offs and not "how much BP do you want to pump into a killer or Survivor." Granted, this would require major nerfs. Imagine some of the killer Iris or every survivor having BNP every game. That much would be awful.

I wouldn't mind if prestige 2 or 3 removed all brown add-ons from said killer's blood web and made them free to use for said killer once they have reached that prestige level.

I am torn if it would be a good idea to give survivors the same treatment given how powerful some brown add-ons/items can be if used every single game.

They ARE okay because they're one-time-per-use. That's the point of the rares being, well, rares; some are so powerful that you would not want to see them every match.

Some are MUST-HAVEs that would show up in 100% of matches of that Killer/Item. The only thing preventing that is rarity.
