what is wrong with the chests?

yeah this is my first post.

i thought to myself on friday stop doin gens and go for side objectives.so i take plunderers,appraisal,ace in the hole and kindred with me ( kindred because im a soloq player).i used it until now and i will use it more. every game i got like one yellow item and the rest is rare. every game. is this a shadowbuff ,did the devs a pretty good job again or is it just my imagination?

    You are more likely to find good items in chests if you are using plunderers, but i think there's a bug where you get plunderer's luck even if you don't run it. Here are the odds for rarities and items in chests with and without Plunderer's Instinct

    It's always been like this, the own perk description says it increases the chance of better items.

    Plunderer's has always worked like that.


    Chests are indeed bugged in that they give better stuff even without plunderer's equipped, but plunderer's has always given you a better a loot table from chests and is unchanged basically.
