How is crossplay fair as long...

... PC players can play on "low" settings so their game get's much brighter. Wondering why they bring tar bottles offerings? The mist is barely noticable on "low" settings. And some having all these fenzy filters and strechted res aswell to see even more. Not even talking about 120fps or M&K.
Now i ask you BHVR, did you even think about all that when you added crossplay? Like, on console we can't change anything. We play the game as dark as intended. And i get it, the reworks are looking awesome. Everyone should play the game like this. And if not, everyone should be able to change things. Every other game has brightness settings. Why not DbD for example? Or graphic settings for consoles? It would help with the fps aswell.
Now before you ask, turning crossplay off on Xbox Series X isn't an option. If we do that, we won't get matched with older Xbox versions so we get que times for ages. Might be the same on PS5, not sure.
