Why does spine chill excist?
I don't get it really. Why do we have sneaky killers when this excists?
Spine chill should not work on
Wraith
Myers Tier 1
Pig when crouching
Ghostface
And all the perks who hides the terror radius....

It's funny, because you just have mentioned the reasons because Spine Chill should actually exists.

and not only that they get a ######### skill speed boost, it's ######### bullshit

No I didn't, it doesn't make sense to give a whole group of killers a Perk that destroys one of there main powers.

No, it doesn't. SpineChill does not e.g. expose ghostface or stop michael's stalking. All it does is 'hey, the killer is looking in your direction, so you'll get nervous and work faster but less concentrated'
It doesn't tell you WHERE a killer is, how close or anything. People still need to look around. and can STILL miss a stealth killer... heck, I've seen people with spinechill miss a 7' tall cowboy looming down on them
why do i think you don't play survivor on a regular basis

Why not just make the undetected status effect also effect perks as well. That way you aren't nerfing any anti stealth perk directly but instead buffing a status effect. Tbh stealth killers are pretty weak so it'll be a nice buff

As a fellow spine chill addict I did kinda wonder why doesn’t it exist when it completely counters stealth killers. There’s no element of surprise for them if they have the perk and it’s rather annoying

If Spine Chill didn't work against stealth killers, then players would flock to those killers; ignoring all the others.
Spine Chill is fine as it is. The speed boost is minimal and the fact there's no sound to prompt you means you're focusing both on that and the task at hand, which makes it as much a distraction as a warning. Plus, as @MeltingPenguins said, it doesn't tell you where the killer is, so again the searching xan too be a distraction.
It's also counterable by the killer looking to one side whilst approaching, that can fail to trigger it.

I hear ya Tony, but in the grand scheme of things it's not even that good. It's not like it tells you where the killer is coming from, and you can trick survivors with Spine Chill into thinking that you're not walking towards them by not looking directly at them while walking towards them. You don't even have to moonwalk like some people suggest. And lastly, their inclusion of Spine Chill means they can only have 3 2nd chance perks max instead of 4. Them swapping out a Dead Hard or Deliverence for Spine Chill is huge.

crab walking to counter a perk is dumb

The killer can just look slightly off to the side while still approaching the survivors and their Spine Chill won't go off.

What the point of stalking if you can’t even look at them lol. Spinechill has to much benefits with no downside, this is why I run whispers to counter spinechillers.

While I agree it should certainly have a shorter warning range against Stealth Killers, perhaps 2/3rds of what it is against other Killers, I do think it has its place. Don't forget that they keep introducing more and more Perks that turn regular Killers into Stealth Killers in a match.

7' tall cowboy here, can confirm. I've shot spine chill users off totems more times than I can shake a stick at.

I don't understand why people complain about Spine Chill, it doesn't feel any different while playing stealth killers against experienced survivors. In fact, it might even be one of the most balanced perks in the game.

Imagine how much suvivors perks have been destroyed (BL, MoM, DS, OoO, Lucky Break before go live,..) that now killers mains ask for nerfing spine chill.

But it's okay to give a killer a power that basically ignores 33 perks? And also, Spine Chill isn't only good for countering stealthy killers, it can also give you valuable information about the killer, and it helps you to make safe decisions. So yea, Spine Chill exists because it's just a really good perk.

Do people really have an issue with spine chill? You can counter it, and its a pretty low skill cap to learn how to.
