Third seal...
I see people saying the perk is 'underrated' but it's not... Not at all.
"But if you slug with it they can't see them"
= First of all you have to get all 4 survivors blind. This may seem easy, but it's really not, especially when gens are being done etc. And your mainly focusing on finding the 4th survivor who is stealthing everywhere.
Let's say you get them all blind.
You down someone and slug them. However someone in your TR sees them get downed.. Yeah the other two can't really tell but the other survivor can and if I don't notice them then the slug is kind of pointless as they'll just go and rescue.
But let's say I have infectious and find the survivor who saw them. There's still one big problem that counters this perk totally..
SWFS!
If I blind them all, the person downed can easily describe where they are. Bottom map near hill... Top left corner of map etc.
This perk seems cool to run, but it frankly just isn't worth the time and effort needed to get good value.

It’s an absolutely garbage perk. Even when blind you still get a notification of where someone is hooked. You might think it’s good on someone like Pig, but you can still see her boxes whilst blind.
The fact that blindness isn’t even the worst status effect is funny though

The problem with it is that if you are going to have the risk of bringing a Hex totem, Third seal isn't even in the top 4 choices. Then like you said, we have SWFs making it completely obsolete. And then we have the meta, where information perks are very rarely used by survivors already so this perk doesn't do anything other than making slugging easier most of the time.

Third Seal is both annoying to go against and useless to use at the same time. Even when it's effective, victory isn't as satisfying when you got kills because the Survivors couldn't find the person on the hook. Other times, the hex is either destroyed immediately or does nothing at all.

It's good. But should be buffed.
I think it should have a chain-like effect.
Make it so that you hit one survivor with it. Then, any survivor that comes within like 8 meters of the blinded survivor will become blind themselves and it spreads.

I like to use it for fun in Hag, I usually have no issue getting all 4 blind and it buys a little time so I don't feel the need to trap the hook to spread pressure.
Yes it is often a worthless perk but it can be fun to run, especially paired with Franklin's.

It's good against solo, terrible against swf on coms.

It's a solo bullying perk and nothing else. The entire Blindness effect needs reworked, and Knockout and Third Seal need it too. Solo players have no counter except find both totems (it's always paired with Undying) in the middle of a 4-person slug or randomly run across their teammates while their teammates aren't being effected by the silent bug.

The issue with Third Seal is that it devastates solos and is completely useless against SWFs... and you don't need help beating solos.
Blindness isn't a great status effect overall. It has plenty of impact when it works, and you can get some great meme games out of it, but it makes uncoordinated teams less coordinated and does nothing to stop the survivors who are communicating via telepathy.

It’s reasonably good on Lery’s or Midwich. It’s basically a stalling perk on those maps, even against a coordinated SWF they’ll struggle to find each other as efficiently as if they could just see each other.
On outdoor maps with clear landmarks and decent visibility it’s pretty rubbish though. And it’s totally outclassed by many other perks so it’s not worth running unless you’re going for some kind of themed build.

It's a gimmicky perk with the potential for fun builds. It combos amazingly well with Trail of Torment. Check out Michi's video:

Problem with Blind is only good against very bad Survivors, against decent Survivors you dont get much value out of it, even against Solos.

The blindness status effect just isn't that great to begin with. What I think blindness should do is muffle the game audio of the survivors hit, just like the effect of knockout but i understand that's not really being blind...
