So? OP said that killers don’t get “free hit perks” but they do. That was my point, not whether those perks are overpowered or underpowered, just that they exist.

Dead hard can be annoying but it really isn't op or anyhow comparable to old Iri+belt getting 3 hooks with 3 hatchets (if you get all hits) is nowhere near to putting 1 second of distance if u compared dead hard as individual I would have agree but this comparison is ridiculous

There are differences between perks and add-ons. The two are designed to not be comparable to most situations. Even if you drag me to the hell called whataboutism, I'll actually take the bait this time and argue back. Because one thing is broken, it doesn't mean that the other wasn't. This is something the dbd community ignores. What you argue is that because one addon was nerfed, a perk being "abused" should also be nerfed. That doesn't have to be the case, because dead hard had a lot of counters, whereas the iri head counters were minimal and made the game depend solely on how well a huntress knew how to play. This is a fact, since the majority of the community, killers and survivors, including the devs agree that the nerf was well deserved. But to be honest, I don't see why dead hard is criticized like this. The perk may be annoying and save the survivors at times, but it's a really balanced perk imo. Dead hard has three possible counters I can think of, and surely a lot more but these are the ones I can think of: it has a cooldown, so unless you allow the survivor to regain their exhaustion, it will be used once in a chase. Secondly, it can't be activated while healthy, so it gets automatically countered by every single expose addon, perk and ability. Last but not least, when you know the survivor has it, it's too predictable and easy to play around.
So honestly, I don't see what you find unbalanced about this perk.
