Shouldn't Calm Spirit stop the Doctor's imaginary aura to appear?
If not, is there any useful perk against it?
It feels like fighting a perpetual BBQ sometimes (with its differences).

Calm Spirit only removes the screams and those location pings the doctor gets whenever he hits you with his shocks/static blast.
There's nothing you can do to prevent those imaginary doctor auras.

Why should it?
The illusionary doctors aren't tied to screaming.
Unless the Doctor is running an addon to increase the illusionary doctor duration, they last for a second. Very easy for Doctors to miss if they are busy dealing with other survivors.

No perk should have a direct effect to a killers power, that's why Small Game no longer works on Bear Traps.

I'm not talking about direct effect over a perk, but coherence. A calm spirit shouldn't be seeing imaginary doctors...

Enough for ruining an endgame when you are playing solo. There is no way to open any door.

Calm Spirit makes you not scream, it doesn't make you less crazed by Doctor's shocks. You're still crazy, you're just not shouting it to the world.

If u touch the doctor illusions, they disappear, theres your counter.

I don't see that being an issue. Opening the exit gate as last survivor after hatch has been closed is suppose to be difficult to pull off, because it means your team failed to finish the gens fast enough and you failed to find hatch first.

Now if only the Devs will fix that in regards to Dead Hard and Trapper/Hag traps...

Caliing "your team" what sometimes is just a bunch of ######### people playing, is generous. I accept what you said in a normal context, but I´m trying to figure the counter for those timeframes where the matchmaking just sucks.

Useless counter if you are the last standing and the doctor is looking you in all directions until the next ilussion starts.

If you are crazy, then your spirit is not that calm.
The perk does not honor its name.

you can make illusions go away by touching them.
also, the Doctor is incapable of seeing his illusions auras unless you are Madness Tier 3 (in which case you wont be opening a door anyway) or he is running the Restraint Add On, which allows him to see the auras of his illusions when you are in Madness Tier 2 (but those are a rather rare sight nowadays. back in the day when people could not go back to Madness Tier 1, this was probaply his best Add On - but ever since the Madness Tier nerf it really dropped in popularity and is probaly the worst hallucination Add On he has)

Calm Spirit just stops the screams. I saw once that static blast went off and I saw the outline in front of me but there was no sound.
You are still tiering up in madness, so illusionary doctors are still there. They are great at helping me determine where survivors are. I had a survivor hide in a locker in killer shack. But little did they know that an illusionary doctor appeared on the outside of the building facing them as they entered the locker. They didn't even know if the neon sign pointing to them lol

My point.
If you are crazy, then your spirit is not calm. The perk should do what it says.

Yeah and you shouldn't vomit with Plague if you have it!! I mean how calm are people when they are running and vomiting!? (sarcasm)
Speaking of which - Calm Spirit also should disable the ability to sprint at all because running increases your heart rate! (more sarcasm)
Your "justification" for the change is pedantic to say the least. The perk works as intended and needs no change. Maybe learn to avoid Static Blast and Shock Therapy better so you won't see the Illusions.

Yeah obviously people with calm spirit should also be oblivious the entire game because if your heart is beating that loudly then you arent calm obviously

Someone can be crazy and perfectly calm. Someone screaming isn't calm.
If having a calm spirit meant not being crazy then surely it would basically counter all of doctors' madness/entire game.

Couldn't you do your best to stay in tier I of madness? Don't they only spawn when a survivor hits above tier I madness?

Uh no it shouldnt at all
