Amazing Killer Idea
I have came up with a pretty cool killer:
The Traitor
Weapon: A hatchet
Ability: Throwing his main weapon and it highlights where it lands, in a survivor or on the ground, and The Traitor has a HUGE speed boost to get his main weapon. He has 30 seconds or his hatchet breaks, forcing him to go to a locker and get another. He needs to be fast like the blight because he does not have a way to damage, and you cant just go to a locker and get another until it breaks. And if it hits a survivor, he has to run and get the hatchet, pull it out of the survivor and wipe the blood off. If he pulls it out, maybe the survivor should have to mend. This kind of makes him a combination of Huntress and Legion.
Perks: Survivor Psychology-Every three hooks, he gets a token, that token can be used to stop a pallet from being dropped on him. What I mean is, he puts his hand and stop the pallet repositioning it so it can be used again.
Story: Many years ago, he was a survivor, but his fellow survivors left him to the killer as they all escaped. His sudden hatred for survivors got him chosen by the entity many years later. Now he seeks revenge on every survivor. He is a pretty young guy who is very athletic, but has lost his mind out of hatred for survivors, so that is why he is a killer.
I couldn't come up with a name for the ability, and i could not come up with some more perks. But it is a pretty cool concept

I would steer away from hatchets as we already have a Killer chucking those. A killer who wields a Spear, however, that would work as both the melee weapon and the hurled like you describe. Some nasty person from Nordic or Pagan mythology would work for this.
