What do you think about Ghost Face's current state?
Hello. The developers go through almost every killer, making changes to make it fit better into current game state. But what about the Ghost Face? Do you think he needs any changes?
My personal opinion on this: he's a fairly strong killer in hands of someone who knows how to actually use his power. But there is a problem with the way his power recovery works. Picture this: you marked a survivor, chased them for a little bit and downed them — you get a 30 seconds recovery (Fixed with addons). But if Survivor manages to reveal you during the chase, stun you with the pallet or you just swing into the air, by the time you downed that Survivor you'll have your power at least 50% and when you hook them it'll be fully recovered. So you pretty much want survivor to reveal you or get stunned to get your power back when you need it. In my opinion it's not how it should be. Solution is simple: whenever you hit marked survivor, you get 50% of your power back and when you hit survivor during the Night Shroud (not marked), you get 25% of your power back.
And the last question, would you like him to have his own terror radius and chase music?
Any opinions are welcome, but please express yourself constructively and be as much specific as you can

I think once he gets his power recovery speed increased and the reveal mechanic fixed, he'll be perfect.

Sorry to say but. Imho
He's the 2nd weakest killer in the game.. (Aside from Trickster)
He's just a Basic 115% killer that relies on survivors mistakes alot more than other killers..

Wonky.
Can't really say much more than that, i don't play him enough and i just never encounter him.

His reveal mechanic is super frustrating and gives him a lot of free downs.

IMO, his add-ons that change the way his reveal mechanic works should be gone. His reveal mechanics are already wonky enough without the existence of those add-ons.

Ghostface is just as frustrating as he always was.

Extremely overrated. Most people think he is mid tier but in my opinion he is pretty damn low. My main issue with him is his complete lack of antiloop or mobility. Any survivor that see you coming or has spinechill ruins the hit and run playstyle and wraith already does hit and run better. He is definitely on of the weakest killers in the game.

I always thought ghost face was kind of OP but this week I've been trying really really hard to get better at looping and just general pallet usage and I went against a ghost face recently that was like "Huh... was he always this easy?"

A real big problem with him is the maps, so many maps are unfavorable for slow stealth killers like Ghostface and Pig.
Tbh if maps were smaller and easier to patrol then I think all he would need is a simple Night Shroud timer decrease. I dont think maps will change anytime soon so that leaves him needing an entire playstyle change. His sneak and stalk playstyle is bad which leaves him as an m1 killer that maybe can get a cheeks first hit off.

He literally has nothing to help him loop. He is literally just knife man in loops lol.

In my opinion:
His base power recovery should be faster but his recovery addons should be nerfed to compensate
Revealing him should show you how much he stalked you, to help prevent the frustration of him trying to 99 you and pop it the next chase
Leaning is really frustrating to do and trying to reveal him in areas he can lean is a nightmare. Both mechanics should probably get polished up some

I'd say Ghostface is in a pretty good spot as he is. He just needs a couple tweaks to his reveal mechanic and power recovery. I also do think almost all of his add-ons need to be changed, they're on the fine line of gimmicky and useless imo.

I'd like to share my experience with this killer. At rank 1, I get at least a 3k every other game and usually I do not use any addons. That's why I lay emphasis on "in hands of someone who knows how to use his power". Ghost Face isn't supposed to chase survivors for entire game, just like Wraith. People simply don't know how to sneak up on survivors, use stalking ability etc and it's totally fine. So I think Ghost Face is the hardest killer to learn, as just practicing isn't enough. It's more about understanding how you can use his power.

He's a buggy mess. He needs a fix or a rework that gives him something that works as intended.

No one actually uses his expose they just stack cooldown add ons and turn their brain off at loops with M2. His detection is also buggy and annoying.

He's in the bottom 5 worst Killers in the game. He's a literal upgrade of Myers in almost every way and that's not saying much.

I think he should be able to deactivate stealth without swinging on his own.
He also lacks mobility which is what loses a lot of games for him. He has no built in slow down. His map pressure comes from people not knowing where he is but if it's a SWF he immediately loses half his power.

Bad, stealth is useless versus survs who have some awareness and good positioning and getting survs exposed doesn't matter if you don't have a chase power considering any mediocre player should be able to last at least 1 min in a chase vs an m1 killer.

I see your point, but having a killer with no terror radius causes chaos on the indoor matches. For me he's bang in the middle. Great against noobs and weaker teams, but abused easily by good teams.

good killer for indoors.
But worse on outdoor maps.
Even no terror radius. he gets out-classed by Spine Chill.

My only issue with him is that hese really boring to play as and against. He needs something unique with the stealth or maybe just reworking the stalk idk. I think myers should be the main stalky boi. Not ghostie
