FIX THE MATCHMAKING FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS NICE IN THIS WORLD

I have 810 hrs on dead by daylight and played for many years so I'm not just some newb. Matchmaking has always been something that wasn't always completely accurate but generally, players would be around the same rank and color and the majority of the time it worked.

I stopped playing killer for quite a while as I only played survivor with friends (I am a rank 1 survivor). Lately, while my friends are busy I have wanted to get back into killer as it was super fun, getting usually 3 or commonly 4 kills.

Now I'm a rank 8 killer because I am a tad rusty and tonight I played 4 games. Every single one of those games I was versing different sweaty as red ranks and with how they were taking blocks and such most likely SWF. I literally rarely d/c because being on the receiving end I know is not fun but for All 4 games tonight I have had to d/c because it was just absolutely horrendously not fun.

Being looped a million times over, knowing exactly where to go and looping the same places. There was even a game where everyone was rank 10 but clearly were rank 1s' I have noticed a lot of smurf accounts lately as well.

Something needs to be done, I'm almost ready to uninstall it until it's fixed because this is just getting ridiculous and the killer is no longer fun. I have also experienced a few low-ranked killers d/c on me as well, so clearly I'm not the only one being affected by this.

TLDR; Make the ranks actually match in mm (SWF breaking mm)

    I don't think they will ever be able to fix the match making. And purple killers facing red rank survivors has been the norm for years. Also, you are correct, smurfs, on both sides destroy the appearance of acceptable match making. I think that is why the MMR tests look so off. People just screen shot smurf accounts being paired with high rank killers and cry....boo hoo...look how bad MMR is. Knowing full well they were smurfing. and MMR may have actually been correct.

    And, I know this wasn't the case in every situation, but I am sure it was ,often enough. I think they should just remove the damn ranks and let us play. You win some and you lose some. You curb stomp and you get curb stomped. Or at least make it so you only depip one rank color. And never more. Why should a former rank 1 be a rank 20 just because they haven't played in a bit?
