New Console Bug?
I don't play DbD as often as I used to, but when I do, I have noticed something... when playing killer, I can't move forward correctly. It seems that when I hold the analog stick forward, my character goes at normal speed, but then starts periodocally slowing down in short bursts, and it's screwed me over in more than few chases. Its fine if I kinda run in diagonal pattern though.
Is everyone experiencing this? Just console maybe? I know it isnt my controller, because other games work just fine....

I've had DBD specific controller issues. If you have another controller on hand, I'd see how that one works.

Everything's working as usual for me in this regard. You could do it in the tutorial, record it and report it if it happens all the time.

Dont touch your control in a match if you are automatically doing something like walking or turning tou have stick drift where the sensor sometimes thinks your doing something. but your not idk how to fix btw
More common in old controllers or abused ones

This has been an issue in DBD before as I remember them fixing a bug where characters would move slower if a control stick was pushed in certain directions. Maybe the bug came back?
I wouldn't be able to tell you though as I haven't played since the update due to exams.

Since the All Kill chapter and more so after this last mid-chapter patch I've noticed it feels sluggish when running around. I get those run for a few seconds, slow down randomly, then go back to running. It sucks in a chase.

I've had this happen! I thought maybe my grip on the controller was failing in my old age, or that maybe it was in my head.

I've noticed this too. I've even tested with 2 different controllers to see if it was controller drift but it wasn't. While it isn't game breaking it is kind of a hindrance, especially during a chase.

I've had an issue where if a survivor dc's when youre reeling them in as deathslinger. Then you cant move forwards or reload.

I've had this happen to me. It was my controller. I thought it was weird that it only happened while I play DBD but thinking about it I did notice some small odd stuff in other games.Getting a new controller fixed the problem.
