My Resident Evil Chapter Theory.
So hello again guys and this time I am back with a theory, with this theory being my opinions to who I think is going to be in the chapter, and as if I didn't stress this enough...
This is only my opinion, no facts, but opinions, but ya with that out of the way lets begin.
Ok so to start things off, for seeing the teaser for the first time, I actually thought it was going to be the sisters from the new game, but I've examined and examined the 5 and in my opinion, I found something a bit strange.
So when looking at the 5, it honestly reminded me of the logos of the original Resident Evil 2 and 3 covers, which I will show right here.
Ok so here are the original logos, and now lets compare that to the 5th anniversary logo.
So when you look at the 5th anniversary logo, most people think that it's one of the Vampire Lady thingy's weapons, which to a degree I could understand that, but...
The Font is honestly very reminiscent of the original Resident Evil 2 and 3 logo's, but my crazy far out there theory is...
Ok so when you count to, times, or at least add numbers up 5, you get some of the following results...
1 times 5
4 Plus 1
5 Plus 0
and finally, 2 plus 3...
Wait, 2 plus 3?
hmmm, interesting...
So when we add 2 to 3, we get 5, so what I'm trying to say is that the 5th anniversary logo in my opinion is the combination of the Resident Evil 2 and 3 Logos, which leaves me to speculate who I think might be in the Resident Evil chapter.
So in my opinion, the survivors might be Leon and Clair, with either having the Racoon City police department or the Racoon city streets as a map, with the killer, which in my opinion, would maybe be Nemesis.
But yet if you want to represent the 2nd and 3rd game, you obviously need to include the first game, and if they were to include the 1st game, it would most likely be the Spencer Mansion as a map, with Jill and Chris as Legendary skins.
But yet if you do that, would you still want to represent the newer games?
Would you want to represent whatever else in the game?
Would you want Wesker taunting you all game?
Overall, it could be anyone's home run in the ball game, but ya in all honesty, these are my crazed RE Chapter theory's which maybe true, not true, I don't even know at this point.
And please remember, this is just my opinion, no facts, nothing official, but ya I honestly think that's all I have to say.

Silent Hill did that, and RE 2 and 3 took place during the same time with the outbreak in Racoon City. You may be on to something
As for 'if they're doing 2 and 3, they might need to do 1 as well', i'm open to 1 being included, but 2 and 3 are more memorable and iconic. The Racoon City attack was legendary. I mean, if you take the SAW chapter into account, it mostly focused on 3 with the meat plant and Pig, Tabb being the survivor was 1 though, so 99% 3 and like 2% 1
But anything that means Nemesis could be our killer, i'm all for it XD

i really hope we get a raccoon city streets map,raccoon city always had that creepy and mysterious town ambiance,specially in the classic games,even the Outbreak games too,Raccoon city map plus Nemesis as the killer would be so awesome.

Hell, I had forgotten that I had these 2 games for Play Station. and the truth, hopefully so, I hope they are based on Mr. X and Nemesis from their classic version and not their current version. Like survivors like Leon, Jill, etc.

Yeah i know, i was just hoping for mr.x because he's my personal favorite but will probably be dissapointed

He's really just a Tyrant. he's only called Mr. X by Claire in a non canon book. I've honestly never liked him being called that but to each their own.

If we get Nemesis or Mr X, we will likely get the other as a legendary skin, which I am for.
As for the dlc being focused on RE 2 & 3...that is a strong possibility. I hope the map is Racoon City's streets....but the police station is the most iconic location. For the survivors...any combination between Chris, Leon, Jill, and Claire would work fine. I feel that if they go with an iconic pair....either Chris & Jill or Leon and Claire...then the killer would be from the opposite game. So either Chris, Jill & Mr X or Leon, Claire and Nemesis. There are SO many possibilities that my mind is going wild with ideas. Whatever Capcom allows Behavior to use.....I just hope we can revisit the license in the future and get more iconic characters.
(on a side note...since it is Capcom.....I do kind of hope to maybe someday at least get a legendary skin for Regina from Dino Crisis....especially if the survivor is Jill. She is still my favorite game protagonist.)

I know, but between him and and Nemesis i like him more, i was scared as hell trying to hide from him in the rcpd while against Nemesis i was just annoyed

I'm hoping for the mutated Wesker from resident evil 5 because it's my favorite out of the series.

Seriously, the devs are going to do something classic, otherwise it would be a missed opportunity. Plus development on a chapter usually begins 9 months before release, in which village wasnt even out. I do love RE8, but i agree with you that this is the kind of direction theyre going to take.

@Luciferr_2nd Ya they would most likely Have a map from the 1st or 2nd, the survivors from 2, and the killer from 3, and having all that is definitely considered Iconic.

If they ever do Nemesis, I wanna see explosions, all explosions, entirely explosions
I wanna see things go BOOM, I wanna hear it across the map, see it break walls and pallets at the same time, may god be my witness when I say all I wanna see is Nemesis deck Meg or Nemesis blow me up with his RPG

RE5 was one of the weakest games in the series next to 6. the forced co-op was really bad and if you didn't have a friend to play with forget about it. the AI was terrible it would waste full heals on a single hit
