Improving Player Behavior and Experience

Fixing Disproportionate Score Events
(Favoring the safe unhook deters unhook farming and rewards real altruistic play. Additionally, Survival BP could be more evenly distributed)
- Hook Rescue |
1000to 400 BP - Safe Hook Rescue |
500to 1200 BP - Survived |
5000to 2500 BP
-------------------------------------------------------
New Survivor Score Events
(Some actions which contribute to a group's escape are currently unrewarded, these changes intend to remedy that, as well as help address some common player frustrations)
- Distraction: Being chased while a generator is being repaired | 5 BP/s per generator {Objective}
- Martyr: Being on hook while a generator is being repaired or a survivor is being healed | 5 BP/s per generator/survivor being repaired/healed {Survival}
- Struggle | 15 BP/s {Survival}
- Struggle Skill Checks | 50 BP
- [Being unhooked early will reward 15 BP multiplied by your remaining struggle time]
- Struggle Skill Checks | 50 BP
-------------------------------------------------------
New Killer Score Events
(In order to encourage interacting with every player in a match, let's reward actions supporting this play style)
- Traveler: After hitting a survivor, hit a different survivor | 200 BP {Hunter}
- Patient: Hook a different survivor than your previous hook | 600 BP {Sacrifice}

Thank you for reading and I am excited to hear your thoughts.

Kinda surprised noone else has flocked to this
I like the ideas (and maybe some more on top of it)

I kinda like most of the changes and the two changes I would make is:
increase the hook rescue to 600 and survived to 3500

I have a lot more, but I thought it would be good to keep this post brief and focused.
What kind of things would you like to see? More blood point related changes? Or actual in game play changes?

What benefit would there be to raise those BP values? Do you feel the survival points would be too low?

I'd support these changes. ESPECIALLY the alterations to BP regarding Unhooks and Safe Saves.
I'd also throw out the idea that survivors within 8m of a survivor who gets unhooked should receive a score event equivalent in value to the unhook event (mainly to reward players who have someone self-unhook in their face or who are group-bodyblocking to make an unhook against facecamping possible).
I'd even say they could have the Safe Unhook BP too if the unhooked survivor stays up for the appropriate amount of time.

whatever we can do to encourage positive behaviour from both sides is warmly welcomed by myself. we can only hope that this gains more traction and a lot more attention.

To be able to max out their respective categories for all survivors. I do think there should be more way to earn survival bloodpoints to lessen the grind a bit more and make we're gonna live forever be more desirable perk for survivors to use (even tho it still need more way to gain token to be on par with bbq).
I hope they make new way to gain more bp so the game doesn't feel like a chore.

These shifts benefit survivor BP in numerous ways, such as not needing to escape to get the vast majority of your Survival points, as well as the total BP for a safe unhook actually going up.

There could of course be even more Survival Score Events added to compensate, but I'm not sure if having one BP event be so heavily weighted.

well the escaped score event should give a high amount of bloodpoints for being able to escape but I kinda get what you're saying.
also I think they would need to make new actions for the survival category as I am not sure what action should reward survival points.

Well of course. Survived and Hatch Escape would still be the highest score events by far at 2500 BP. Maybe it shouldn't be lowered to that extent, perhaps 3500 BP would be better, I'm not sure. Whatever the case, the Survival category should be more accessible even if someone is tunneled down for instance.
In the past I've suggested a potential score event for being downed after just being hooked without another survivor going down first. Essentially some compensation for being tunneled, while also serving as a means to round out the Survival category. Not entirely sure of it, but I think it could alleviate some of the frustrations of being tunneled.

a little of both in my opinion
maybe a way to get survival points more easily or other objectives to do (like optional stuff to give points in these categories but dont progress the game in a drastic way like gens do)

I agree that the amount of BP should be greater for a safe unhook then a regular, however why the 2500 less BP for surviving? Will that be split elsewhere? For i dont think the true goal of the game should just out right be less rewarding.

We can keep going
Hide or Die - 200 bps for entering a locker (activates 5 time per match)
Surprise! - 2000 bp for catching a survivor in a locker
