If DBD was realistic

I thought about DBD having another gamemode and it's called: Realisim

The rules are:

  1. All killers have a 20 meter terror radius
  2. Survivors are in 1st person
  3. 3 Random perks are chosen for you (Both sides)
  4. The animations are realistic (No 360s or moonwalking)

    The Doctor would legitimately incapacitate if not outright kill survivors with his electric shocks and be the most overpowered killer in the game

    In-short

    Also, Bubba and Bill's chainsaws will go from being insta-down to insta-kill

    I was thinking this same thing. I've seen plenty of horror movies where a killer or survivor walk backwards. Lots of killers backing up into a spot for a surprise attack or survivors walking backwards so they can face the direction they think the killer will come from while moving away.

    If a killer is carrying a survivor on their shoulder and drops down, the survivor is immediately incapacitated and cannot wiggle any more. Y'know, because their stomach just got slammed against a hard surface.

    Also because they were already dying when the killer picked them up, and being manhandled and then dropped suddenly doesn't magically put them in a state to run again. So I propose they just flop off and the killer has to pick them up again.

    The killer wouldn't need to hook anyone. Do you know the pain of being slammed into the ground several times, having a weapon shoved into your neck before bring stamped on?

    I don't but I don't imagine it's something to survive easy.

    Also survivors could climb on top of each other to climb over the fence and escape.

    Well, the hooking is purely for ritual, isn't it? Assuming that is still why everything is happening, they'd still hook for the sake of the Entity. Might not really matter, but it's what makes the dark god thing happy, right?

    If we're going for realism then there wouldn't be a malevolent spider god(dess)

    WEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL I think the point is to apply as much realism as possible while still maintaining the plot.

    It's a dance, Would you dance knowing that there is a high chance of dying? No you would ######### your pants just like anybody else

    This. If what you want is realism and punishment then the Survivors open their toolboxes to find hammers, wrenches, or pick up rocks and sharp objects and rush and DS the Killer as a group. Instead of a few split seconds of agitated confusion and paralysis it just kills them and everyone casually finishes generators while talking about which cosmetics the Entity will bless them with next.

    If DbD was realistic then everyone would die the moment a ######### machete swung by an evil supersoldier cleaves through their back.

    You're telling me that in a realistic setting, where magic or whatever isn't real, that 4 young adults couldn't beat the ever living shite out of a burn victim like Freddy?

    I guess they could be in KYF? I really wish they change KYF into something like this: You press "Kill your friends" and there is a choice "Make a lobby" Or "Join someone else's lobby" And the lobbies have different gamemodes and you can modify them

    Well if we're making it realistic, no more Spirit, hag or any other killers that require any sort of magic or supernatural things. Hooks would kill you right away, bear traps would make you limp, you would be leaving blood everywhere even if you get healed, killers would probably stop doing that animation after they hit you and just hit you two times in a row before you can get away, survivors would probably fight back instead of just running away, some survivors would be alot slower than other (like Meg would be alot faster than Claudette) Only certain survivors would know how to repair gens, Bubba and Billy would kill you as soon as they hit you with the chainsaw, Huntress and Trickster would do alot more damage.

    I like the idea of dbd trying to be realistic because it's so unbelievably one sided lmao.

    Haddonfield would suddenly become a very Killer sided map, Survivors would just break legs when falling down from those buildings.

    Realism or hardcore mode

    * No terror radius

    * 1st person survivor
