Question about Struggle
I really like DBD, however the one problem I have with the game centers around the struggle mechanic. I understand the intention behind why it is the way it currently is, but I was wondering if Behaviour thought about any plans to add in like an auto-struggle or an easier to manage way than just mashing spacebar? This could come at the cost of either reduced Blood Points or no BP for using it.
The reason I ask is that I have severe arthritis. Playing the game normally is generally okay for me, but once I get into a struggle state, I'm unfortunately most likely going to die. It's impossible for me to mash the entire time, and if i have to change hands, the game just thinks I've stopped and have given up which kills me despite having most of the bar left. Sometimes, I assume I'm just not mashing fast enough at all completely as I'll just die as soon as the struggle starts.

Struggling should be a series of skillchecks similarly to snapping out.
Smashing a button like an idiot.... I really dont know who designed this and thought "great work lets stick with that"0 -

im actually in agreement here. the struggle mechanic (personally for me) feels like it would be much better with skillchecks rather then random mashing, personally when im on second hook i just mash with my left hand and go on my phone, its a boring part of the game for me and takes me out of the action. i'd rather it be easy but necessary skill checks where i actually have to focus on surviving

Struggling should be a series of skillchecks similarly to snapping out.I would be fine with this too, as it would still also keep strugglers engaged with the game.

It was just a thought.
Ofc it will never come reality because survivors prefer their easy way hammering space bar / activating a macro instead of hiting skillchecks

I play Survivor too.
My spacebar still works fine, but i'd rather take the method that decreases the risk of wearing it down, a.k.a. skill checks.
Seriously, not necessarily you, but if someone were to open one and announce it here, i'd sign it.0 -
I dont see any necessary reason to manually wiggle.
Struggling has its uses, i wouldnt want to see it removed.0
