Anyone else having troubles finding the little trouble maker? I was wondering but I am gonna assume no but would something like Small Game or DH help find Chompers the Gnome? Does he count as a totem or something? I do wish they would make him a bit brighter because some of these levels are super dark and foggy still.

I have ran around the levels many times now at the end don't even try to escape and took all the speed buff perks to cover as much ground as possible. I still have not even seen him at all. I hear the little trouble maker but then never find him.

I wish they made it so everyone can see him BUT only the people that have not obtained him could smash him because it also stinks that I may be racings others to find it that have already got it but just like the thrill and break it.

I wish you all luck and I will continue looking for myself and helping othes look for him before the event is over.

    Well during one of my matches I found that randomly. It usually spawns where totems spawns and yes you can assume it is as big as a totem. Check the corners of the objects and normal totem spawns and you would probably find our little dude.

    Play a game of killer, slug the final person, close the hatch and enjoy your two minutes of free reign looking for the gnome. That's how I did it. It sucks for the person slugged on the ground but it ensures you have no competition while looking for it and the killer always 'escapes' so you don't have to worry about finding it and then dying.

    If there's time left after you've found the gnome, pick up the person you slugged and let them escape through the exit gate to make it less sucky for them. That's also how I did it.

    I've noticed that on Autohaven maps he appears near the exit gates; hidden within the detritus of nearby obstacles.

    Maybe it's just good luck, but I've seen 3 around there - 2 were mine and a third by a survivor.

    That laugh did spook me when I first heard it in Lery's though. Not the place to be hearing voices!
