Why am I able to see people moving with no connection message

Was in game which had been going for some time and randomly I get the no network connection message would be fine if I wasn't still able to see the survivor that was near me moving along with the killer off in the distance. I sat there watching long enough for the crows to start circling above me. I was only dropped from the game after clicking the ok button to see if the game would recognize that I did have a connection but no dice.

    Presumably a server bug, I've had it 3-4 days ago as well. Might be worth it to mention it in Bug reporting section with bideo evidence.

    Also, you can wait it off - don't click anything, then in about half a minute the game will be aborted without you receiving a leave penalty (no queue ban, bp removal or depip).
