Party privacy

I have a question about the party privacy in the settings.

How does it work, when you select "Public"? Do you need people to be in your friend list for them to join your lobby? If not, how to do?

Thanks! I'm a 100% solo Survivor but I was curious about it. You know, I could use it one day!

The answer is no because you can invite people even if you are not friends with them (expection of switch) and if it's crossplay, you need to friend them because dead by daylight doesn't have the feature to invite other people like if your on steam and if you want to invite a switch person you need to friend them.

I think that you need to go to their steam account and then invite them there with your party, without adding them as their friend.
