Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I would check your ping and download/upload speeds separately on a computer or mobile device using your internet to confirm if it's your internet provider or your PS4 that's causing the problem. (You can use a site like fast.com to do this, and then click 'More Info' to see your latency (ping)).

If your base internet connection using other devices is good, but your game connection is poor, it's most likely one of two things:

    • The connection between your PS4 and your router is poor, causing the higher ping and laggier connection.
    • You could simply be far away from the nearest DBD server.

If you're near to a DBD server, and it's definitely a problem that solely occurs on your PS4, then it sounds like a local problem, as mentioned above. For example, wireless connections generally have a higher latency and packet loss compared to a wired (ethernet) connection, so if you're using a wireless connection, this could be the potential source of the problem.

    Hope this helps :D
