What are the early reviews on No Way Out?

I usually leave room for one end game-ish perk in my build (remember me, NOED, blood warden) and have tried this a few times.

What does everyone think? Personally, I am underwhelmed. It is useful in one ultra-specific scenario: you down someone on two hooks at virtually the same time the 5th gen goes off. If you hook and run to the gates, you'll be too late to keep the other 2-3 from escaping. With No Way Out, you can get the 2 hook surv out of the game and still have opportunities for more downs.

I got that once in about 10 tries, but on the whole blood warden/remember me/NOED gives me a lot more per-match utility, on average. Has anyone else had better luck?

It's a great concept of a perk meshing Bloodwarden and Remember Me together, but it is a bit underwhelming considering most of the times survivors have to spend part of its activation just running to get to a gate. In the niche situation you described is when it would excel, and when survivors pop the last gen when it's located next to an exit gate, but otherwise eh.

It's trash and Remember Me is better. By the time any survivor gets to an exit gate the No Way Out timer will run out. They can just hide and wait it out, same with Blood Warden. Meanwhile Remember Me makes the gates take 40 seconds and they will be in plain view while doing it.

If you're having a bad game and want to open the exit gates to get the match done with, it stops you from doing it right away

Just thought this was a funny mention

it sounded super good on paper, but i have to say its really not that great after all.

easily the worst of Tricksters 3 Perks.

that said, its also not a bad Perk. it has its nieche and can be quite strong when combined with the right other Perks / playstyle.

overall i'd rank it as a decent Perk.

nothing you're gonna see too often, but also not useless when it is used.

It seems like a decent perk on paper, but the reality is that it usually only covers 1 or 2 exit gate patrols and survivors can hide it out easily enough. Not sure that it has a place in a full end game build. Something like Rancor/Blood Warden/NOED/Remember Me would be better.

Got hyped as many new killer perks (by some streamers etc.) before it came out, only to get abandoned by everyone after 3 tries because it's actually very niche and not overly strong. Same as with Starstruck, Oppression, Dragon's Grip.... the only killer perk from the last 4 chapters i still see despite being nerfed is Undying.

Yeah, people really over-hype perks sometimes. I remember when Power Struggle was apparently gonna be the new meta and seen in every match. Few months later and I never see it.

Just goes to show that actually testing and using the perks and seeing how they work in real match conditions is much more important than most people give it credit for. It’s nice to see people excited to try something new but the calls for nerfs on niche perks is always frustrating.

Of all the times a killer has brought it, it's only been effective in one match I played. It's not a perk you see often though. There are just too many better options out there.

Wasted perk slot. At least, with Remember Me the survivors have to actually be at the exit to fight the perk. With No Way Out, they see the Entity's spikes and they can just chill hiding in a corner until the timer runs out.

I think it's only really good for killers who can set up the exit gates like trapper for example. Gives them time to set it up if they haven't already previously done so. Other then that, not too good.
