Ahhhh solo que...

Spawned in on pale rose. I hate that map but at least it isn't Hawkins. I spawn next to shack without a basement. Meaning super safe area.

No gen inside so i go around the side and to my surprise there is a pile of skulls on fire. I hear the screach of victor being released from within his sisters bosom. (Kinda not right by the way)

No one is injured, but i grunt and groan while attempting to put out the fire hazard. I see a meg is being embraced by the loving brother and after finally making smokey the bear proud, i start on the generator.

Meg gets slapped and picked up close to me and i am completing old tome challenges and needing protection hits. So i run up and Charlotte swings and misses. We dance some more and she swings again. Adam (me) is clearly a ninja and causes her to whiff again.

At this point, I am thinking alright! 1 more swing and the Meg is free! So i take the hit and Meg...is not free. So now i am thinking, alright Iron Grasp. So i continue my contemporary dance routine and am rewarded with another missed swing. That's 4 swings. Meg is still riding Charlotte's shoulder. I pirouette into a rock and get downed.

Then watch as the Meg is taken to a hook a good distance away. Meg paid good money for that thrill ride as she did not want to get off of it. She gets hooked, i get picked up.

The whole time i am thinking, 'agitation? Mad grit? Iron grasp?' Meg proceeds to kill herself on hook.

Game goes on. We lose. Miserably.

Check the tally screen, no iron grasp. No mad grit. No agitation. Meg simply didn't wiggle.

I did the right thing in trying to prevent her from being hooked. And because the entity is sick and twisted, i was punished for it.

But what could i expect from solo que?



What are your favorite solo que moments that went terribly wrong, despite doing almost everything right?

    Someone DC's after I run around like a headless chicken unhooking survivors that lasted no more than 5 seconds in a chase while trying to do the gens.

    Better watch if they're wiggling before rushing to the killer as the attack animation hides that info.

    Don't expect coordination or will to live in SQ.

    Wth. Theres never a good time as a solo player. I am choosing hellfire the moment I chose survivor.
