The Weirdest Match I've Had... (Rant)

I just had one of the strangest rounds I've ever had and am basically just ranting about it!

Entire cross-play match. Rank 1 Wraith with add-ons. Rank 1 Survivor. Two Rank 3 Survivors. Despite not being very good I constantly pip and went from rank 20 to rank 9 in a matter of days so that's where I'm at. I am fairly certain the other Survivors were SWF, all of them brought items. As usual I brought nothing into the match.

We start the match together and are found by the Wraith within a matter of seconds, literally. I've never seen a Killer start right on top of the Survivors like that so it was already off to a weird start. Wraith appears and rushes past two Survivors who remain on the gen and goes for me - I couldn't find a pallet anywhere on that side of the map and was downed after a short chase.

I get unhooked and healed. I start to follow the Survivor and we run right into Wraith who circles past her to chase me. Once more I zig-zag the T and Ls and found no palettes and get downed.

I get unhooked and heal, this time myself. At this point I watch the Killer materialize next to the other 3 Survivors on a gen, hit one of them off, then turn around and see me halfway across the fogless map and proceed to run me down.

I am not really someone who screams tunneling or rants about Survivors or Killers, and I'm not really doing that now, I'm more just... Confused! I've not been targeted like that in a long time and wanted to share my perplexed annoyance with anyone who cared to read it. 😅

From incredibly unlucky RNG with palettes to starting on top of a Killer to what I'm just going to call tunneling, it was just super duper unfortunate.

Sometimes the killer wants you for no apparent reason, and it's not very fun. Right now, there's also a challenge where killers have to hook the obsession a bunch of times, so there's a chance it was also that, if you were the obsession. (Not that that would make it cool -- I run Furtive Chase when I do the obsession challenges so it at least gets spread out).
