PC - Ghostface stalk through barrels Coldwind

Hello,
I went hiding behind barrels on coldwind (Rancid Abattoir) same place as on the screenshot and the ghostface was able to fully stalk me from where the burning barrel is, roughly the place where he is in the screenshot. unfortunately I don't have video evidence. is this a bug or is this normal?
