Can I be banned for just not being awesome at the game?
I was currently in one of my worst played games against a Pyramid Head and im still kinda new. I was runnung forward quite a few times while looking behind me and sometimes ran right out into him because I thought he was behind me. I worked on gens though and did 2 on my own. At the end it was me and a girl who had hatch key and knew hatch location. I was second hooked already and in the barbed wire stuff so I didnt run away so I could die and the other girl could use hatch.
At the end of the game, the killer said theyre reporting me, and I thought it was because I died so my teammate could escape but they said the reason was because I ran toward them which was more in the first half of the game when I was looking behind me with my camera as I ran. He said I did it 3 times and, I did but not purposely. I was looking behind and around me.
Again i'm still new and it was my first time playing a different survivor than I usually play and his perks are more difficult to understand so I was scrambled the whole time. I have never been reported in any game that I know of, so im nervous now? I didnt think I could be reported for messing up looking a certain direction and happening to cross paths with the killer. I dont think im the worst at the game but im not the best. Ive owned the game for 4 years but this month is the first time I ever played it, ive had a lot of games to catch up on.

You’re fine, no worries. He didn’t get his 4-kill and wanted to vent. Some people do this by making threats of reports and bans.
You didn’t cheat.
You didn’t hack.
You didn’t prevent the game from progressing (like trapping someone in a corner all match.)
You didn’t exploit a bug.
In fact, you didn’t break any rules at all!
You’re just fine. This guy would literally have to submit a report against you and then submit a video recording as proof. 1) he’s not gonna have the patience for this since he was just venting anyway. 2) Even if he did, best he can say is “this guy ran at me! Call the wambulance!” The customer service guy is gonna shake his head, dismiss the report, and move on to the next to handle real issues like evidence of hacking.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. You ran into a moron; the world is full of them.

Ingame reports are meaningless, specially false reports (no legit reason for a report).
