PS - Crashing on Death Hook as Survivor

Three times today alone my game has crashed upon getting sacrificed as survivor (I'm not very good at the game yet). It happened twice on Dead Dawg Saloon and once on Grave of Glenvale as Bill and Meg. My perks were kindred, spine chill, borrowed time, and sprint burst. I was penalized by the game all 3 times and now have an hour ban timer. Would very much like to play more of the game but I don't want to risk increasing the timer or being permabanned. Thanks for the help.
