The Players are ruining the game.
This is getting annoying. It's harder and harder to find a decent game. I'm not talking about pallet looping or DS or parts of the game that need to be in the game.
I'm talking about the actions of the players I play with.
I play the killer, a part of the game you could argue is essential for playing the game, otherwise your just hitting skillchecks and listening to spooky sounds on repeat like its halloween.
Almost every single game I play, i get hatemail. And a lot of the time, i'm getting spammed with it, while I'm still playing. Whoever I manage to Sack, just spams my inbox with insults to distract me from the others. It's disgusting.
It makes me not want to play. I'm tired of reporting people almost every game. And I can only do it after.
If I don't kill every single survivor, anyone that lives will play ring around the rosey in the gate until I smack them and make them leave, while they t-bag the whole time. This is wasting everyones time. the game is over, this is trolling. When the killer ends the game, it's fast. When surviors end the game, they make it take as long as possible to taunt me after its done.
This happens even after good games where I'm thinking "Wow this is fun, they are skilled at juking, know the map well enough to path well, it's a fun struggle without either side pooping on the other." But then whoevers left pulls out the dumb troll tactics cause "Haha your the killer and you didn't get all of us"
It makes me not want to play. Honestly.
Or if theres one guy left and 4 gens, and they just move from hiding box to hiding box to hiding box, spamming me with insults to my inbox just because I actually did my job.
If I lose, I get trolled, if I win, I get trolled. Why the ######### do I play this again?

Report them if you're PC. Private your messages if you're on console.The vast majority of players don't ######### talk after the game and the people that do need to be put in check.As for teabagging at an exit gate, you will just have to ignore it and not let it get to you. It happens in every game with crouching and this is no exception.6

Sounds like you need a break from DBD.
The devs suggest swiching to the other role or to play other games like civilization if you are too annoyed by the broken game mechanics0 -
Everything I hate about this game you just described.
Even if they spent the majority of the game on the hook, consistantly blow gens or run the killer directly to unsuspecting teammates to save their own skin they will do this stuff at the gates. I think it's to give themselves a sense of validity or superiority that they don't get irl.
What I do when playing killer and if I am using Nurse, The Spirit, and not as often Freddy, is use their unique ability to force them back into the map. Almost always one or more will run back into the map. This will give you a chance to down at least one and hook them. The posers will run out anyway but the gangsters will come in for the hook save. This gives another chance to down and hook a second and usually last survivor.
For me, I find that one of them was on their last hook anyway and they get sacrificed or they haven't been hooked or their on their second hook, this is the ONLY time I will camp by dancing in front of them while they're dangling on the hook regretting not running out. Why play nice when they didn't? It's their fault they are on the hook anyway so make it fun for you. I like to dance (move around randomly like forward, backward, and side-to-side), swipe at them while spinning, or maybe I'll go in and out of their ability, and things like that. Just to let them know they got the wrong one.
As for the other stuff, it's always best to have your messages off when playing games like this because people can get very salty when they lose or again, its need for that validation they don't get outside of video games.
The ring around the rosey and looping, it's hard to do but find someone else. I learned this lesson by spending too much time chasing one person while gens kept popping. Imo, it's best to let that person run off because they could be the lone wolf and the others finished two or more gens working together while you were busy chasing that one.

It's Common when You play as a killer if someone Send You Trash talk do not Reply just Report it and Block them as Simple as that .0 -
Out of curiosity, are they facing you when squatting? I've heard this can mean GG and some survivors let you hit them for one more point for you.

It bothers me too when we have a genuinely good game where both sides play well and people have to rub in their victory at the exit gates. I just leave, but I obviously cannot speak for all survivors. I always make sure to have my profile on private because of how sweaty people can get when they can't take an L. I'd suggest doing something similar of that nature. Also, if you play on PC you can hide the chat. Just press the arrows next to the text box, and it should collapse it. Don't let the bad behavior get to you, I promise decent folks still play this!

I can deal with the tea-bagging. It will exist in all pvp games. But the hate mail was really really getting to me.

I feel for you, but most of this is the nature of pvp. It happens on both sides in different ways, it happens in any game where people vs each other. It's annoying and it's immature, but (outside of hate mail) it comes with the territory.
As for hate mail, as many have said, either close off your messages/end game chat or report the hateful ones you get.
