So now we got AI zombies doing killer's job?

Why have you been so rude? Every reply you've made has been more rude than the last.

That's what I thought the minute I saw zombies. Imagine a zombie casually walking up and interrupting you on a gen with it having Ruin.

They were talking about spirit, not what's his name.

You shouldn’t have a flashlight in a perk. How about change that instead

Honestly I think the zombies are a fantastic addition to the game. The zombies combined with the vaccine system gives survivors quite a lot to do during their downtime so you aren't just stuck repairing generators until the next chase starts.

I mean, we've had second chance/exhaustion perks, keys, SWF, items and addons doing survivors job for years.
What's the big deal? There's 2 zombies on an entire map.

Are you talking about the new perk Flashbang? 🤣
That perk requires you to repair 50% of the gen AND THEN go into a locker to craft it, survivors totally have to work for it. Meanwhile we got the zombies, who can block, inflict the contaminated status effect, injure or put a survivor into the dying state without requiring the killer to do anything at all. They can also be used to track other survivors. All that FOR FREE.

Perks/addons/items and passive abilities are completely different things.

Completely different things - but can usually be used, repeatedly. Zombies exist, 2 on a map. 2 zombies on one giant map. Dodge them.

The Zombies are so cool lol. They certainly don’t do the killer’s job for him. They’re a part of his toolkit, nothing more. I love the fact that a zombie will, on rare occasion, push someone off a gen, or camp a hook. It’s great.

And they can block, injure, camp, force survivors to leave gens, track them and down them without the killer having to work for it. Also, in indoor maps they can easily block or down you, especially while being chased, it's not as easy as "just dodge them" because you sometimes can't.
Again, if the zombies were more influenced by the killer's actions i wouldn't have any problem with that, but having access to ALL THAT without any effort coming from the killer is just dumb.

Please understand that Resident Evil is survival horror, ZOMBIES are suppose to be Obstacles while the main baddy(Mr. X and Nemesis) chases you. Mr. X and Nemesis are easy to deal with in their games, It's the zombies that get you.

I would prefer if instead of dealing one whole health state immediately, the zombies did damage similar to how The Trickers needs lacerations of X amount to deal damage.
Maybe the zombies interacting with you for X amount of seconds deals damage until a health state is gone? It would be cool if they incorporated a push action for survivors to get the zombies off you (like crushing Victor), just so it offers counterplay to being deadzoned by them and Nemesis.
The trade off could be that if you push the zombie off of you before it deals a health state you get afflicted with the sloppy butcher effect and the damage dealt doesn't fade unlike The Trickers lacerations.
But overall, I also wouldn't be upset if they left it as is when it goes live. I think it's a great new mechanic that spices up the game. Plus it's also kind of hilarious.

Yes, but on the other hand, Zombies are never where you want them to be, they just happen to be on the right place at the right time sometimes. The only way to get them somewhere else is killing them if they are in a dead zone. I've spend 3 minutes with a friend leading all the zombies into a massive dead zone and they are essentially useless for Nemesis at that point. They have a bonus that they can be where you need them to be.
Plague can always infect what she wants to infect.
