Idk man... I’ve escaped Nemesis every match so far
I don’t get why people are saying he’s so strong. If I had to put him on a tier list, personally he’d be at C+ or B. So far, he’s loopable if the player isn’t perfect with their tentacle strikes, he has to do more work to injure you in his power, (hit you 2-3 times with tentacle strike) and even with that if you’re good at jukes and loops you don’t really to vaccinate which is a plus. Also, assuming you don’t have brain dead teammates who just crouch and do nothing, you can drop pallets early if you’re having trouble against his power, it’s a huge time waster. Zombies don’t really do much other than annoy you and force you off a gen and maybe catch you if you’re not expecting it but that’s it. The matches I played were mostly red rank killers as well. This is just my opinion but let me know what you guys think.

I guess no one has figured out how to play him effectively yet, whereas you are playing Survivor which is going to be the same gameplay that you are used to, apart from slightly different movement on jukes. Also people are probably playing him non optimaly (e.g. going for his tentacle attack when an M1 would be better), because they want to practice with him.

It’ll take some time for people to get used to hitting his tentacle strike like with slinger or ph
9 -
Its Probably because people are still trying to get good with him.

i think you just gotta give players some more time to learn him properly.
after all, he has only been around for roughly 24 hours now and he does require quite some precision and timing.
dont forget, back when Deathslinger dropped people also said he would be the worst Killer in the game and yet, after players had the time to properly learn him, he has proven to be quite effective without any changes at all.

Very true. The aim on it was wonky for me.

Thats also true.

Yeah, man deathslinger is still a big pain for a lot of players lmao.

He seems very solid right now from what I’ve seen. His zombies can be a tracking tool or a zoning tool and his chase potential seems pretty decent

Sure, PH was also awful and felt weak at the PTB then he had to be changed 2 times in the span of 3 months because he was actually super broken.

From what I've heard, his power is likely the hardest power to just aim, let alone be good at trick shots with. Plus, his T3 can be easily withheld by survivors at the moment.

Once people get a lot better at hitting the tentacle strike outside of loops you will realize how good he was. By the end of the night yesterday I was getting easy 4ks with him

I mean you’re entitled to have your own opinion but this is simply coming from someone that has 3.5K hours and has good knowledge of the game on the survivor side and the killers side. Perks don’t always need to play a factor to determine the outcome or the power of a killer. If you have smart and strong survivors on your team it can negate a lot of stuff on the killers end.

He's easy to run away from, which is what mostly separates the good killers from the bad ones.
He can only pray that a zombie is in the way of the survivor & that his max tentacle range is increased because I think it's too short.

Predropping pallets against a killer that can break them very fast and still have some mobility while doing it seems like a plan that's doomed to fail.
I'm guessing you just went against weaker players cause predropping pallets seems to be a thing you really really shouldn't do against this killer once he reaches tier 2

His power seems to have a short range which is why I think people are still trying to get used to the aiming.
For me, playing as him, I feel forced to M1 first and then try to infect because then they are forced to drop the pallet, otherwise survivors just ignore the pallets completely if you only try to go for the M2.

Mix of just janky matchmaking in PTB + He isn't the easiest killer to use. He's definitely not weak and is pretty much unwinnable in some times, like the safe auto-haven or McMillan loops, or TL's. I've seen some good ones and they so ######### your world.

That's to be expected. Killers have unique powers, survivors are skins.

The thing is the tentacle range is the same as a charge attack or slightly better so pre dropping pallet is not a bad idea. Hitting with the tentacle is hard too the hitbox is small honestly right now i rather play PH over nemesis like that i dont need to hit a survivor 3 time if i want to down them

Its a mixed bag, I have yet to not get a 4k or 3k + hatch with him and could conclude that he is top tier, but since its only the PTB you can't really tell how strong a killer is just from escapes/kills. On one hand you have survivors just messing around trying new stuff, thus not doing gens like in a normal match, but on the other hand you have survivors/killers running strong add-ons every game (just had a match with 2 BNP and a key), since they otherwise would be "wasted".
So far he looks to be around high mid-tier or maybe low high-tier to me, but that can change once the killers get better with his tentacle strikes/learn to use the zombies better and survivors learn how to counterplay him.

In my first match on an open field I somehow witnessed 3 players all get snowballed by one zombie as I chased the 4th. This killer is ridicolous I love it.
