A Mistake I See Often

I have seen so many instances of a killer swinging at a pallet, getting stunned and then the survivor getting a late hit. This isn't because of weird hitboxes or either player having high ping, when a survivor drops the pallet instead of running their hitboxes get closer to the killer so the server usually thinks that hit lands when it doesn't in either players screen.

What happens is: in the killers end they will finish swinging through the pallet, miss and then the survivor will stun them. In the survivors end they will stun the killer mid swing because of how ping works. This results in the server seeing the swing happen and the survivor dropping the pallet, which means being in range of the hit. So while both players see it miss in their screen, the hit still lands.

To sum it up, if you are going through a pallet, the killer swings and you think they will barely miss never drop the pallet, because that may result in you getting hit.
