Should maps have different numbers of zombies?
I dont have any numbers in mind, but i think some maps are better for zombies than others, so maybe a big open map could have 3 zombies and a small indoor map like the game only one?
What do you guys think? Is balancing via zombie numbers ( or maybe different respawn times on maps) a possible way to go in the future?

Small maps 2, big maps 3 would be good

Should maps have different numbers of gens?
Small maps 7 gens, big maps 8-9 gens would be good

Like i said in another post:
0 to 9km² = 2 zombies (Dead Dawg Saloon/Coal Tower...)
9 to 11km² = 3 zombies (Wretched Shop/The Pale Rose...)
11 to 12km² = 4 zombies (Mother's Dwelling/Shelter Woods...) Map sizes in details

8-9gens on big map? Would you increase the number of genre survivor have to do? Other wise you just make it harder for killer to patrol as survivor can put pressure on more gens.

Yeah, probably. 2 Zombies is basically useless on a big open map, effectively nullifying half of his power.
Have 2 Zombies at base for every map that is like 140 tiles or less, then for every 7-8 tiles above 140 1 additional zombie spawns.

The same argument goes for zombies. If the number of zombies depends on the size of the map, while the total number of gens stays the same, large maps will be disastrous for survivors, since most of the area would be empty of gens but full of zombies. Survivors will have to spend tons of time to find ANY gen, while still being in danger of zombies.

The pressure zombi have on small, indoor maps is tiny at best. On outdoor map you can see them from a mile away so 2 zombi barely add any pressure if at all. Adding one or heck two zombi wouldn't add much pressure, just make them less useless.

Thats a good idea. :)
I support it.

Large maps are already disastrous for low-mobility killers, of which Nemesis is one.
I dread getting Mothers Dwelling as Doctor. Survivors can just start running as soon as they hear your terror radius and you never catch anyone.

Honestly, I'd make the zombies a set number in every map, I think 3 is good. But also make them slightly faster but unable to camp near hooks. In addition, give Survivors the ability to kill Zombies, something like sneaking behind them and initiating a kick similar to Victor crush.

^ This is really what we need.

They said in another post they cant add more zombie for now their game is not good enough for that.

The only problem for having 3 or 4 zombies, is the possibility of all of them congregating, and trapping survivors.
2 makes this relatively unlikely, and any point where just one zombie could trap you is ultimately your own fault. But if you have 2 or 3 zombies on a loop, or jungle gym, you could be downed through no fault of your own.

They can add restrictions to counter that.

Map size is sort of irrelevant when some of the map area is just useless dead zone, though.

I believe the devs said that it'd be difficult to implement. I imagine it's AI related.

this is the best idea I think.

They should but they won't.
Devs already stated that even 2 of them is very difficult to maintain right now and adding more would create performance issues....not like there aren't any as of now right
