tunneling

I dont get the point of tunneling tbh. especially when you're in the higher ranks. I just got tunneled so hard despite him hitting the rest of my teammates down and them helping up. even when they got in his face he still went after me. I really don't get it because I wasn't the obsession either. what's the point of tunneling when you very clearly can get more kills? all he did was get one kill and lose the rest. very confused ngl.

It's how the game works. According to Otz, it's enough to eliminate a single survivor from the game before the 4th gen is done in order to secure you victory as the Killer. So tunneling is the best and most efficient tactic.

Usually when I do end up tunneling I will just go and tunnel the one person who gets on my nerves and tries to get my attention. Flashlight clicking and teabagging behind a palette. At that point it's like, ok well if you want my attention for yourself then I guess you're gonna get it. Got no one to blame but yourself at that point.

Cutting down the number of survivors can make it easier on the killer.

Not to mention in this game, you can make your own win condition. Not every killer goes into a match with the intention of trying to get a 4k. I myself consider a 2K a win.

I'm sure that that killer's win condition was to get you out of the game, even if it meant everyone else got out.

Well we would love each other xD

I love get chase by killer for that i am doing t-bag or flashlight clicks for take attention. Most of times when i doing that i am dying for that. Or killer is rewarding me with facecamp. But it is fine, i wasted killer's time so much and helped my teammates. But i hate when killers ignoring me

Sounds like the killer wanted you dead more than he wanted to win

I had a survivor bodyblock me with BT, and that ticked me off so I tunneled her to death. I don't like doing it but survivors sometimes don't give us a choice.

Focusing on the first to be found and downed is the fastest method to actual map control.

Hahaha it would be a blast for sure. But you want to know something funny? Sometimes if I see that they're blatantly doing it to take heat off of their friends who I see are lurking behind me, sprinting for the gen I'll shake my head no and then I'll blatantly ignore them and go after their friends lol. It all depends for me really. Cus I know that survivors who beg for the attention are doing it to waste my time. I just take a second to think whether or not it's worth it. Like down 3 gens and only have 1 hook. Ok, cowabunga time. If gens are good and I know where the others are at. Nah, I'll save you for last lol. It's this aspect of the mind games that I genuinely love playing with you survivors =).

I have been guilty of anger tunneling someone who has baited me in to a DS before. I can't lie about that...

Yeah smart killers leaving and patrolling generators sadly. But most killers hate t-bag. When i gave them pallet stun and then starting t-bag, they hates me and wants me out :d I mean i already wanna your attention, thank you for ignore gens and try to tunnel me. Deliverance + DH + DS + UB combo really help me, just i need save first hook that's all i need. And so many times i am calling as noob for those perks.

Nah that's dumb. I wouldn't call you a noob for running perks like that, it's part of your build to help your role of trying to be the shiny keys to get the killers attention lol. I personally don't get the hate for people using certain perks. I mean I literally had a match last night where I used NOED and the response to that was the survivors telling me that I was NOED trash and that I should go die. Like...I'm sorry but it's an actual ability available for me to use in game. Why shouldn't I use it? I didn't cry that they all ran BT and DH. It's part of their kit, they're supposed to use it.

Tunneling is easy 4k. You can’t win as solo against a trash camper and tunneler

But Otz very rarely tunnels. He isn't a scum who tries to ruin someone's fun early on

NOED is good perk for end game. You played with 3 perks all game and NOED worked only end game. If they would clean all totems, you would never use NOED. So that is their fault for ignore totems, not yours

We have many times. We have good loopers in our swf team. So the killer wastes time tunneling for 3 or 4 gens and we have bt and ds. Very rare a killer who camps and tunnels against us gets more than 2 kills

That’s why I said.. as solo, not in swf

I do this too. And I do it with Nurse, so it's a whole nother level of punishment for playing like an #########.

Haha actually here's the funny thing. I was playing a lvl 15 Wraith and only had 3 perk slots unlocked. So actually I played the game with just two active perks, BBQ and Franklin's and still got told off at the end. And to make it even more funny, one of their guys had the perk from Tapp that helps them track down totems too lol. But again, I'm the bad guy here. It's just funny and sad how worked up some people get over this game.

people who run detectives hunch or small game have no right to complain about NOED. But even if you didn't have used NOED, you'd probably still get those same hateful messages. It's the survivors who feel they're entitled to escape just because they popped all the gens.
