Blank Screen/ Archive Cinematics

I've completely unlocked multiple archive memories in the Tome. However, when I try click on the cinematic icon my screen just goes black. If I click again, it takes me back to the archives but all my sound stops working until I restart the game. this has been since the archives have been released. any ideas?

also have uninstalled/ reinstalled game many times, as well as verified game files integrity.
