Best Pig Build With BBQ?

I’ve been trying to play pig more, but lately it has been a frustrating experience. I’ve been running the Scorpionz build, but with BBQ replacing brutal strength. I’m beginning to think this build is weak unless you play perfectly and survivors don’t immediately complete generators. Can anyone recommend a more consistent pig build that utilizes BBQ?

I think Scorp uses a Chase/Tracking Build only.

    Brutal Strength, Enduring, Whispers, BBQ

I am not sure about Perk 4 but you should run slowdown Perks on Killers you aren't that familiar with.

    I'd recommend Ruin/Pop/BBQ/Tinkerer.

Tinkerer makes you Undetectable more often so you don't have to waste time crouching in order to be undetectable. Ruin and Pop helps in that regard.

I like running Whispers+M&A which helps with gen grabs. You can run that with STBFL as you can ambush the obsession to not gain stacks, or you can use Enduring instead.

BBQ, Sloppy Butcher, Nurses Calling, Pop goes the weasel.

If you use BBQ utilize the info for pop. You can also use the info to see where survivor try to remove their traps. Bc of sloppy most of them dont heal and are easy targets. So if you dont have something to pop, down them. Nurses has good synergy with sloppy and your stealth ability. Dont use your stealth the entire time, only when you know where someone is (BBQ-info etc)

This is what I’ve been thinking about running. It might not have been clear from the post but my current build is BBQ, Whisperers, M & A, and Enduring. I’m beginning to think I’m not getting much value out of whispers and M & A.

Is the combo of whisperers + M&A good against red ranks though? Grabs are a lot harder now and it seems that regression perks are necessary on M1 killers. I know the build usually works for Scorpionz, but he’s basically an M1 killer god that very rarely, if ever miss plays. Is his build really a good build for the average player facing good survivors?

It doesn’t work all the time but it can work at times. It’s a fun combo to use nonetheless.

Thosw 2 Perks aren't really worth it on Pig in my opinion.

Scorpionz build is fun and focuses on her fun aspects. He said himself that if he wanted to win every game he would bring pop.

So if your goal is to win just use the usual: Corrupt, Pop, BBQ, STBFL.

If you REALLY want to win bring crate of gears and tampered timer and interrupt survivors trying to do bear traps a tiny bit ( just chase them for a few seconds if you see them and if it doesn't cost you much ).

I just run corrupt, ruin surveillance and undying. Not the best but consistent.

If you want to run a build similar to scorpionz's but with bbq, I'd remove brutal strength and keep enduring

I go with corrupt, surveillance, nurse's call and bbq.

Corrupt obviously reduces the amount of available gens at the match start. Pig can then stalk patrol the remaining open gens.

Surveillance is obviously the Pig's most handy perk and one of the most important for killers overall.

Nurse's will allow you to creep up silently to a healing survivor and strike. Especially good for tracking down freshly dash-attacked victims.

BBQ will assist with tracking your next target and give some extra bloodpoints.

I usually get a good game with this build.

I've never seen a pig run devour, ruin, undying, and thrill, but I played against two today with that build. Maybe they saw your post.

I personally use BBQ, Corrupt, Pop, and Enduring and it seems to work pretty well, 2 perks to help with gen defence and 2 perks to help starting and finishing chases.

For someone who's main is pig I honestly have come to the conclusion that pigs ambush ability is under powered. In the saw movies the signature move is knocking survivors out with some type of inhalant. It'd be nice if successful ambush attack inflicted some type of slow poison to survivors or something. It's hard enough as it is to even get a hit with ambush. One of the best pig streamers says to not even waste time using ambush. Which is a hard sad! Like basically don't even use one of the abilities you have cause it's trash. So I think overall regardless of the great perks you run on pig she is due for an upgrade. But I like running anything with surveillance. Excited about the erruption perk from nemesis. Might try to implement that into my build

Whispers and M&A aren't really necessary, they are used for efficient crouching. Crouching as pig lowers your movement speed to 90%, so these help you know when to crouch at the perfect time.

If you are having trouble with generators, feel free to replace W + M&A with 2 slowdown perks.

Thanataphobia is actually pretty good on her. Survivors with hats on don't have time to heal if their trap is active.
