Best Camping Tactic EVER
The build you will see has been tested and is extremely efficient to catch saviors while protecting your well-deserved hooked prey.
1) Take Trapper, because with his traps placed on strategical places like grassed path or behind windows around the hook, he can do massive damage to the Survivors and ensure a Killer win, even if only one works.
2) Hook in the basement. Perfect place to hook several victims and easily defendable.
3) Take Agitation or/and Iron Grasp to have better chances to go to the basement when you're far of it.
4) Take Monstrous Shrine, because it gives bonuses to basement hooks.
5) Take Insidious to ambush your prey.
6) When you took down your first victim and if you can hook him in the basement, place him on the side of the hook post, it's important.
Hide beside him behind a wall and do not move. You will be in perfect position to grab automatically the reckless savior. Timing is essential, you need to be very close to him and while he is performing the save action, but it's easy if you are in the good position.
7) This a GUARANTEED death for at least two Survivors. Stay here to protect your preys and why not grab another one by doing the same method.

Play Hag, put traps on the other side of every window and pallet around kill, walk away, tp back, get 2 hooks for 1.

YAWN, give me something fun to do please.
May as well not play the game.0 -
I prefer letting them think they're escaping with trapper.
Take Iron Grasp and Agitation. Trap all exits aside from one (works best on killer shack since it only has 3 entrances).
Walk away from the basement, when you hear the unhook run back. Watch as they see you coming in one way and try to bolt out the other door/window and both get trapped at once.
Much hilarity ensues. I've got many 4ks this way. They keep coming to rescue their friends and you get more traps every time.
Not a build for ranking but more for the laughs.0 -
I do this without insidious. Use enduring and ruin instead and simply block every exit with a trap and wait. Reset the disarmed trap and enjoy punishing altruistic survivors the most effective way possible.0

Not bad, dude. People aren't giving you props because deep down inside we all thought at one point we had good builds, but in the end, the game is borked in favor of survivors. There are a few killers that pwn, but not all.
I've found the most productive strategy to be a versatile build and to quickly identify the survivors skill level in a chase - they all have their patterns at certain skill levels. The really good ones are just annoying because they can exploit pallet loops that are spaced perfectly to prevent you from ever hitting them. But, you learn not to chase people like that. Either way, when you stop chasing them 10 gens will instantly finish and by the time you get to the exit gate there are four groups of survivors tea bagging you and jumping in hatches.

Umm. @Mikaxo my friend, have you heard of the infamous SWF-s? Do you realize that the survivor you hooked can see you waiting there?
Sorry, Insidious builds usually don't work out. I wish they did.0 -
Fun story to add to this thread. Was playing survivor a few days ago and got hooked in the basement by the Shape. He slipped into the corner behind the first set of lockers and just sat there, I went through the motions and the struggle and was the first to die.
After I was dead and no one had fallen for his trick he DC. I got a msg from one of the other survivors telling me the killer had sent them a message to git gud and try to rescue. He was actually trash talking people for not falling for his camp.

It is soo nice when the 3 remaining survivors come stumbling to the basement at the same time and just stay there instead of doing gens0
