Would you have liked to see a different killer/survivor instead of Nemesis, Jill and Leon? If so, which one? Would you have put a second killer with Nemesis?

I would have liked to put another killer alongside Nemesis, you know have a character for the modern fans as well. Jack Baker would've been my choice for the killer, not only so we could get something for modern fans, but make the chapter have something for every group of people. But so far, it seems they are only gonna care about the old games

I think the real problem is that the new RE monsters are boring and no different than Killers already in DbD.

I don't get the call for Jack Barker that so many fans are asking for. In my mind Jack is no where near as legendary as Nemesis, he's way to recent an addition although as a fan of 7 I really do think he is Iconic for the series and a stand out (especially compared to Mr.X, who although may predate Nemesis, just doesn't have that same presence. Kinda B-list imo) But Nemisis the obvious choice, being a crossover fan fav in games and movie media for a while now (Aside from Leon and Jill, of course).
Maybe with Jack for me it's just a legacy bias. He just came so late in the Resi cannon, he doesn't have to fair chance at establishing himself to me as an icon at this point in the timeline. But I think he's just to young to be considered a representative face if the franchise

Yep i totally agree. What made RE popular was the first 4 games so it would be nuts to bring the recent villains instead of Nemesis. They could be added in a future but Nemesis was the best choice, its the most iconic B.O.W from RE its like the Trapper for DBD, he is the portrait of the game.

Well he does more than just use a chainsaw, although I'll be fine if Jack baker is a legendary skin for Billy, but I wouldn't really buy it. I really don't like Billy because of his addons are broke as #########. Plus Jack would've probably been the closest thing we ever would've gotten to having The Shining, aka Jack Torrance in DBD( Jack Baker was based off of Jack Torrance incase you didn't know) . But I'll live if they add at least something that's inclusion of the modern games. I'm a more recent fan so its probably why I would love Jack in DBD

I was really wanting Claire because she’s my favorite from RE but there is always the possibility of a legendary skin.

He does, but his big scene is probably with the chainsaw shears. Plus his other forms are... let's just say they might have trouble fitting in the basement or being recognizable. I loved RE7 (that ending song is FIRE), but as a fan of the older games too I'm extremely excited about Nemesis. Eveline would've been an interesting choice IMO, though I'm not sure how they'd work it.

Its pretty obvious that she will be added as a skin for Jill. The question is what skin will they give to Leon? There lies the mystery.. I would like a RE4 skin for Leon.

Yeah your right, thing is... I'm not mad that Nemesis was the choice, I'm just not excited. I spent a large portion of my time on the forums before the stream, speculating. Talking about who could be the killer and obviously a lot of people said Nemesis, and I tended to agree it was going to be Nemesis because... well who else other than Mr. X? I argued back and forth, it got to a point I was worn out, and not as excited for the chapter anymore.
So when the reveal came, and it showed us Raccoon city I immediately threw in the towel and said "GG". I already knew who it was going to be, and I was right it was Nemesis. I sadly didn't jump up in joy like many others, because it was so painstakingly obvious who it was gonna be, I barely surprised at all. In future I hope they never show a teaser for their upcoming licensed chapters, ever again! It should be a surprise when they show us the next licensed chapter not a bunch of speculating, raging, and throwing hate at each other.
P.S: I do agree the ending song was fuckign FIRE, hell its in one of my playlists
