Clown rework involving applying afterpiece to generators for aoe effects around gens

For a clown rework, what if you could apply a special afterpiece tonic to a limited number of gens to create an aoe around the gen that slows survivors or something (perhaps gen slowdown even)? I don’t think revealing the survivors by screaming would be balanced though, it’s more of a tame effect, and doesn’t effects survivors as much as normal afterpiece tonics. The idea behind this rework is to improve the clowns zoning abilities while providing slowdown and making certain gens less safe for survivors.

In this instance, the clown would have tinkered with the gens and made a contraption that allows him to insert special afterpiece tonic containing tubes (that have flimsy opening/closing mechanisms, hence why there’s only a few) into the poles of the gens (or poles attached to the gens), which are sucked upwards, and the contents are injected into a storage container, and the tube is sucked back down, and the clown takes it out. A fan-like device at the top of the pole where the lights are is initiated, and the fan spreads the effects of the gas over a certain aoe to slow survivors in the area. The survivors have to find antidote benches and make antidotes for the gens that expire after a while of holding them (less effective storage containers than clown, and are less proficient in making them) to ensure survivors aren’t constantly holding one and are in limited quantity (because each bench has a limited number of supplies). These antidotes are then inserted into the poles, and the antidote neutralises the effects of the afterpiece tonic in the storage container within the pole.

Don’t know if the afterpiece gas should remain or not after the gen is complete. Might cause certain areas to be more dangerous and therefore require shutdown.

Perhaps even the afterpiece antidote can be applied MAYBE (in which case tonics need to be made at stations to neutralise the effects). This could allow the clown to move more quickly across the map by using a middle gen or something, or possibly encourage survivors to work on certain gens to protect others (what appears to be a positive is actually a downfall for survivors).

These are just suggestions, I’ve left a lot of this up to interpretation for balancing reasons.

What do you guys think?
