game audio sounds distant

hi so I've been having this really weird issue lately where if I click out of DBD and then click back in my game audio it sounds noticeably different, it sounds distant... i can't think of another way to describe it. I am a streamer and according to my chat the game audio sounds the same for them so I guess it's just me but I know it's not a problem with my headset audio itself because the audio sounds normal when I'm out of the tab but when I click back into it the game the audio distorts, i've tried restarting my game and this is happened on multiple occasions I'm not sure what to do.

it might be notable that I am using a Bluetooth headset, the Logitech G733, because I saw another post about how this can be an issue with Bluetooth headsets and whenever I switch to a wired headset I no longer deal with this issue and everything sounds normal.

please let me know if you've experienced this issue or know of any solutions. I prefer using my wireless headset rather than my wired one and I'm not sure why I have been having issues with the wireless one lately, thanks for your time :)
