Fix for Keys
I had an ephinay the other day about how to balance keys so they match up with Mori's, while likely still being more useful. Don't let them open hatches anymore, they only open for the last survivor in the match no matter what. And instead focus on reading the killer's aura. No need to do animations, no need to use that as an excuse anymore. Just remove the detrimental and overpowered part, and still leave something for the keys to do. Let me know what you all think

They can’t do that, because there is an achievement tied to all four survivors escaping through the hatch.

So maybe they should update achievements and delete this one? For example we still have (now) almost impossible achievements like "3 teleports and grab" as Nurse, or "fix last gen and escape thru gate".

Easier said than done. Companies like Microsoft and Sony don’t really allow for achievement/trophy changes unless they are 100% no longer attainable.
Keys really aren’t as bad as they’re made out to be anyways. They typically don’t result in more than one survivor escaping that way, in my killer gameplay experiences.

The "detrimental and overpowered part", as you called it, is only the fact that 3 survivors can escape when there is still 1 gen left to do.
An easier and better fix for that would be to have the hatch spawn only when either 5 gens are done or only 1 survivor is alive.
If you want, you can toss in a 3 seconds animation to open the hatch with a key as well, but that would be only the cherry on the cake
