Looping tips
I'm not the best but, I have over 1k hours and I've learned a few things.
1. Learn to track the Killer while running away. You need to be able to react to the Killer trying to cut you off and mind game you. Is he going to follow through or go around? You can practice with a friend in private match. Or even load up the tutorial and practice there. Learn to look back at critical points in chase.
2. Understand which loops and strategies work against each Killer. Low obstacles are no good against ranged abilities. Blocking LOS as much as possible against Nurse, ect.
3. If you can afford to take the hit, don't drop the pallet, you're going to need it later.
4. Resilience + Spine Chill (speed vault build) can save your ass when normally you would be toast. These two perks together give you a 14% speed buff to vaulting.
5. Doubling back and cris crossing scratch marks. This is best done after LOS is broken. Most Killer's get tunnel vision and those bright scratch marks can actually confuse them if you are able to make a big mess around a jungle gym for example.
6. Quick and Quiet can allow you to get away with some cheeky plays. Dissappear into a locker, or vault a window. The Killer will catch onto this though, so be careful.
7. Break LOS and find a quick duck and hide. This doesn't always work but, often times the Killer will run right past you, especially if lots of scratch marks are all over the place.
That's all I got, would love to hear other experienced players tips.

"Resilience + Spine Chill (speed vault build) can save your ass when normally you would be toast."
Alas, nothing can save your ass from broken vault hitboxes.

8. Loop as tight as possible.
9. Learn which loops you can chain together and when you can abandon a loop to reach another one.
10. Test the killer. How does he react against mindgames and does he know how to run tiles. Change your playstyle with this infos.

The lag gets me or desync, I'm not sure. It feels bad when you can actively watch the delay in the vault animation.

Conjoin yourself with the wall, when you can and they think you're trying to mind game behind a wall just run straight and head to another loop or something. Unless they're a fast killer they'll lose a lot of time trying to catch up.
Also, of course hope that you both have Internet from Earth & not from Mars.
Btw, be careful when you hug the wall, try not to do it too tightly because there are areas where you get stuck.

Pace yourself. Your goal isn't to gain distance at the tile itself. It's to maintain a safe distance until you need to drop the pallet. Be patient and don't just run.
Learn to position your camera for sight. You can see nearly everything you need to on native res.
Remember that the killer is reacting to you as much as you're reacting to them. Try to establish early in the game whether they're a complete bot or actually sentient. Do they mindgame at all? Are they console? All of that information will inform your decision making. I minimize risk as much as possible if they're console because the servers are horrendous and they'll hit me from a mile away.

Ive played for years but #5 is not something I've ever considered before nor have I experienced it often as a killer. My usual trick is to leave tracks heading one way (such as down the basement or upstairs in building) and then walking in the opposite. Needs Broken LOS and the walking aspect is risky but hilarious when the killer buys it

It's something I've noticed after looping jungle gyms. After the pallet drop or vault, if you make some distance and cut back through the old scratch marks, the Killer has no clue which way is which. Perhaps, they were just bad. Also, sometimes if two survivors are around the same loop, scratch marks are just everywhere.
