Have you considered that the only alternative is the solo queue experience?

*dies on first hook*

*laughs while self-caring in the corner of the map while that one guy ran the killer for 8 minutes*

*has a generally unenjoyable experience in general*

Edit: This is somewhat unrelated but the main lacking of SoloQ I'm poking at here isn't the lack of communication, it's the fact that you can end up with 3 megheads. With SWF you can pick and choose your teammates.

😂 lmfao I 100% relate, every game it’s difficult. I blame swf instead of me just being bad.

I wouldn't call SWF unfair, all it does is remove the barrier of staying incommunicado while playing.

Buffing solo queue isn't as easy as you might think. You can still have perfect games on solo queue, it's mostly the variability of your teammates that brings troubles. That's something you can solve by better matchmaking. SWF's greatest benefit over solo queue is the ability to pick and choose your teammates.

Well dude i am winning 70-80% of my survivor games when i play with my friends. But for solo? I really do not know. Sometimes i am escaping gates, sometimes i am escaping with hatch, sometimes everyone dies so fast. Solo is terrible.

Don't you know? Solo's don't cooperate. And because of that if survivors cooperate then they are automatically a swf group.

In all seriousness I would love to play solo more but It just not enjoyable or fun. If solo was better then I'm sure more people would play it more, I know I would.

Well let me put it this way, swf can annoy me at times but I understand it and I'll explain.

1.survivor is easier, just the way it is and if most people are honest they are the power role.

    2. Swf gives a number of advantages, these would normally be through many perks as a solo and so a swf gets 10+ built in aura perks.

    3. Information shared can be game changing, gens nearly done, hex locations, killer direction, who's being chased etc. This can hurt certain killers alot

    4. Swf isn't always friends, they are often just a bunch of very high skilled players that group together removing weaker links the game relies on for balance.

Finally I want to say I dont mind swf, I think it's great being able to play with friends etc. It allows me to play with my misses (although she's not the best) but I allows us to have some fun together which being at a huge competitive advantage. The reason solo Q is bad is because so many people dont belong in the ranks they're in and that's the rankings fault. Solo is completely fine and well balanced for the most part, I can hands down say if its 4players like me I'd win most games with the killer getting few hooks. Not trying to be cocky but I'm well experienced.

But for average players versing a group is far more difficult, doesnt mean there isn't more chill swf but what I would consider chill others would still struggle. Honestly even as someone who does swf (duo with my misses) I can say it's much easier even if we both arent at the same skill level due to the communication etc. Personally feel action speed should be decreased by a very small % depending on group size just to balance the info they can share.

When playing solo learn when to be selfish and when to be altruistic. That's basically it.

Oh, and run a build that allows you to be self sufficient while still contributing to the team. I run Lithe, Inner Strength, BT, and Stake Out. One helps me get away, one helps me heal (and bonus, encourages me to do bones), one helps me save, and one helps me power through gens or heals as I gain tokens.

Yeah, solo can be frustrating when you're paired with potatoes but if you can identify what role on the team you need to fill that match it can lead to more wins. Just remember it's just a game and try to find fun when your team is essentially throwing.

Had no idea how much people hate solo queue, even go to lengths of saying swf is very fine balanced on average.

I enjoy solo, but I admit most of my teammates are pretty useful, those braindead teammates occur as well but its rare in the times I play survivor.

Yeah, the only survivor among the newer cast that I leveled up to P3.

I solo queue all the time and I have to admit that this is only a minor, minor part of the experience. The SWF teams I've been able to recognize as such try to save me 9 times out of 10. That said, I've had my share of fellow players who complain about the way I play after the match (not aggressive enough) and met my share of cowards who just hide in a corner hatch camping the whole game.

Still, being completely on your own when others are coordinated does suck.

I almost spit out my drink laughing at this LOL.

If there was ever a single image that displays Solo queue, this is it lol. But it would be perfect if one of those survivors had disconnected. Then it would be *chef's kiss*

Solo que is trash and the people saying it's fine are probably the urban evading randoms that hide the whole match and don't touch a single gen or go anywhere near the heartbeat just waiting out hatch from the start

Swf is only playable option for survivors in this game coming for someone who played solo for months now guess what? It sucks and is unplayable and total waste of time which made me so mad to the point of deleting the game...if this game had no option to play with friends this game would sink faster than Titanic

I solo queue almost all the time, and don't often have a problem, so I'm not sure where all the hate for solo is coming from. Most teammates have decent skill or better, with conversely very few McCain's Oven Chips. I don't always escape, but we often do well in blood points and enjoy the game.

For those hating on solo, I can only assume (in order of likelihood and based on my experience, which I'll grant you is a sample of one person):

    1. You actually don't fail miserably in solo as often as you think, but it's natural instinct to remember the negatives more than the positives. "I distinctly remember the bad times" thus translates to "there were only bad times". I say that as a fellow human being who does the same thing all the time.
    2. You've got VERY unlucky game after game. Never buy a lottery ticket.
    3. Your definition of what is "bad" needs a review. If you die, regardless of the game you had, is that "bad"? If a teammate doesn't rush over to save you with military precision (almost as if they can't hear you shouting over discord that the killer has definitely gone), is that "bad"?
    4. You're not telling the truth (I hope it's not this)

The problem with solo q is how random it can get due to mmr.

just yesterday I had a game against Blight that was pretty bad against some really strong survivor, he barely got 2 hooks by the time all gen where finished, so he tried to resort to camping but since everyone was on the same page we managed to get everyone to escape.

But then i got a really stupid match where a Feng minn get downed early and decided to DC as soon as I unhooked her for no reason, a Nancy that was throwing, she was crawling to the killer , when I revives she walked him so the killer could kill her, the killer took advantage of that by ignoring her, I finally managed to convince her to get her head out of her ass and help me do gens. The Claudette was a pro and an mvp however, she looped the killer for an eternity. Th blight, I don't know if he threw the game put of potty or because the Claudette had a pride charm on her ass but he spent the whole game tunneling her and ignoring me who was doing gens. Only me and the Claudette managed to escape.

Once they get the mmr right soloq will be less of a terrible than experience.

    TLDR: can't wait for mmr

One of them did, actually. The one guy who had Unbreakable, got up, and downed again immediately. Of course he decided to DC.

Thankfully, the Spirit had mercy and that massacre transformed into a farming match. It could've ended very badly for us.

Depends on what you consider a win tho. Survivor wins are really muddied and dont really have any solid experience. You cant put it on escapes, because a solo escape isnt really a win, you cant really put it on the majority of people escaping, because you could die on hook and lose a pip while 3 teammates escape. Let alone that 3 people could die and you still earn a pip.

Survivor wins are more personified than killer wins are. At least killer wins are a bit consistent. Survivor wins are all over the place.
