I feel that if a rank 1 and a rank 20 play together they should not be matched with a rank 20 killer (just an example) and instead should be matched with a killer with the same rank as the higher ranked survivor.

    It is supposed to work like that, but even a solo rank 1 can get matched to green ranks so the matchmaking is to blame.

    To be frank, it does not matter what rank the survivors are. You just get matched up against literally anybody. It's a total crapshoot.

    That's the reason some of them do it so they can bully low rank killers. A lot of the toxic squads usually have a smurf on their team.
