SWITCH— Getting “The software was closed because an error occurred.” error message constantly.

I’ve reported this before in a different section that’s used to check on the status of a ban before, since this has resulted in numerous tempbans, but they basically said they couldn’t do anything in terms of resetting the tempban counter. I’m getting desperate so I’m posting here.
I wish I had step by step specifics for when this error happens so that I would then have some idea how to avoid it, but it basically seems random. In the middle of playing, at random times, the game will just crash, usually during a match. It doesn’t matter what killer/survivor I’m playing as. Sometimes the game will freeze (I am still able to exit to the switch home menu, it’s just the game that freezes) before crashing but it always results in a crash, and the only explanation is always “The software was closed because an error occurred.”
I thought this may be an issue with the specific switch console I was using, so I switched to a sibling’s switch that they don’t use anymore. I even erased all other data in case it was a storage issue and used it exclusively for DBD. After a couple hours of gameplay, I got my hopes up, but it still crashed. Both devices and both DBD files are up to date.
If any additional information whatsoever is needed to resolve this, I will gladly provide it. At this point I’m just very desperate. I’ve now been met with two 24 hour bans and a 48 hour ban, and I spend more time waiting to be able to play again than I do between bans. What must I do to fix this, short of literally paying for a second account as a backup?
