Tutorial Update can Help SoloQ
With the upcoming Resident Evil chapter we are getting some much deserved changes to the Tutorial. The PBT gave us the oportunity to try bot matches and that's an awesome adittion and honestly i think the bots perform pretty well already, maybe we can have a second and third bot matches where the bots are even better so that all players can experience a broader spectrum of what they can encounter when they hit live servers and they have a better understanding of the game. I understand the complicated and time consuming work that this would require but if done it would help every player in their learning process.
Now to the tutorial itself, honestly it's still pretty disapointing to me. It feels extremely basic. All i can retain from the tutorial was killers chase and hook and can kick gens, you're not even allowed to use Trappers power, the game does that for you, and on survivor side you do gens and escape. There was a section where you have to hide and then heal but those sections were so small that it won't stay in players minds for very long. Overall the most you learn from the survivor tutorial is Shift W and hold M1 on Gens, with the occasional skillcheck. And on Killer side you learn W, M1 and hook. It's extremely basic and disapointing.
I think this can easily be adressed and expanded. I think the Tutorial should teach manny more things, it should explain basic loop structures and basic looping concepts, how to chain loops, it should show survivors the diferent vault times and their vulnerabilities and strengths, it should explain status effects aswell. It should SHOW TOTEMS and OBSESSION mechanic. Give each killer a tutorial for their powers and add-ons, aswell, have them practice loops aswell.
All these things and the bot matches will give new players a much much better learning process and base skills and understanding of the game. This is a HUGE benefit for SoloQ because it dimishes the amount of Potatoes, players are better prepared to play the game in the live servers, they've already seen and experience in the tutorial manny scenarios and how to react, all that is left is introduce player decisions to the mix and let everyone enjoy the game.

Not necessarily. The could be at least semi decent with a good enough tutorial.

Sure absolutly but at least the game tried right? At that point you can't fault the game anymore so you have to fault individual players. So by then you realise the problem isn't that the game doesn't do enough, doesn't help enough or it's not balanced it's actually the opposite the game is doing all it can but it's the person that isn't performing well. Wich is exactly what happens now, people want SoloQ buffs to compensate for players being stupid. You don't Balance because of stupid people, you don't give easier to use and stronger perks like Counterforce wich is coming for example, you try to teach stupid people first and if that doesn't work then the problem isn't the system it's just the people and you stop trying to fix people and focus on fixing the game.
If the People is the problem then DbD doesn't need to cater to brainless people anymore like it has done for so long, it can actually focus on giving the good players the changes that actually matter like fixing bugs and improving performance and other stuff that make the game better.

Excatly ofc you can already blame team mates, it's exactly what happens now everyday so you're already showing the game doesn't need to buff SoloQ, wich is what i defend, SoloQ is fine, it's a player problem.
Everyone is free to look for how streamers and tubers play and what they recommend but one thing is watching and another is doing and practicing, the tutorial simply gives you both, gives the info but offers a way to practice outside of live servers so you don't hurt anyone elses gameplay if you don't feel ready. Ofc you can ignore all this but then you're gonna be much easier to blame for the mistakes you made wich again validates the player problem not game problem.

Sometimes people don't find the right content creators. The tutorial could still help
