Question about the Tome Challenges and the Rift

If I complete every single challenge in all 4 levels of the Tome, am I guaranteed to get to the end of the rift and get every item?

    Kind of yes. There are 40 levels worth of fragments in the tome in 90 challenges. If you get the 300 XP daily bonus for playing each side every day, the only way to not have finished the rift when completing the challenges is if you are super efficient and get less than ~2,3 fragments on average through gameplay per challenge (about 3 if we ignore the daily bonuses). Since 500 XP gain you one fragment and a "normal" length game is slightly more than 500 XP, you'd have to beat each challenge in less than two games on average to not be done with the rift after completing all challenges. A lot of challenges are constructed so that they are almost impossible to complete in two games: try cleansing 15 totems in two games, and communicating with five glyphs takes you at least five games as well. Killing 12 survivors in two games? Nope!

    Therefore, I'd be surprised if anyone except maybe a handful of people who see challenges as some kind of e-sport would manage to complete the tome but not be tier 70 on the rift.
