Also I thought thats how it always was, killer within a certain range is visible but so are you.

The PTB added two extra challenges to the tutorial: A match in which you play as Dwight against the Trapper on MacMillan, and a match in which the roles are reversed. Each is a full match, just as you'd play a match with real people, only every other character is controlled by the AI.
Honestly? It's not nearly as bad as you might think. The AI is pretty decent, especially for a first try. The pathfinding is good, characters didn't get stuck on objects and run in place, the survivors generally knew when to try to do gens and when to run, there was looping, pallet dropping and vaulting. At one point I was even downed by the Trapper, who left me slugged to go after other nearby survivors, and then when they scattered he came back and hooked me. Once he did I saw the auras of the other survivors ducking behind objects, sort of going back and forth between hiding spots, waiting for the opportunity to try to unhook me as the Trapper eventually moved away from the area.
As Trapper, the match took 8-10 minutes which is about what my average is. The survivors were persistent about trying to get gens but also, again, knew when to stay away from them. I'd hook, go after another survivor, and before I knew it the first one had been unhooked. Sometimes I'd walk around a wall and find a survivor trying to hide in the bushes, other times I caught them running in the distance and when they spotted me they turned around to dash in a different direction.
I don't want to oversell and say that it's perfect, and so far it's only these two configurations, but the said in the 5th anniversary announcement that it's something they're going to be working on. And honestly, so far it's definitely at a playable level.

Massive buffs to wraith. He now has true invisibility beyond 32 meters, has windstorm in basekit, and has a greater speed boost when exiting cloak.
One of the cornfield maps is in the daytime now
Trickster in game: better than people give him credit for. You have to play smart and everyone just wants to spam knives without using their brain.
Freddy is slowed while placing dream snares, has less snares, and his add one no longer have gen Slow down options
Demo had a slight nerf to shred and a big buff to portals
Lucky break is viable now (was bugged to be OP, not sure if its fixed)
Mmr has been all over the place. Get ready for really easy or really difficult matches and nothing in between
I think discordance works differently since you played. It now has range and has to be T3 to cover the whole map

Borrowed time now activates no matter what when unhooking someone, but only lasts 12 seconds

DS is now truly anti tunnel. If you're being chased off hook, you get value. If you have time to heal yourself or others, do gens or bones, then you weren't being tunelled and it deactivates. Its so people stop being cocky for 60 seconds after unhook. But you can still be healed by others and hop in lockers

You can tunnel now without any problem. DS is trash perk now and you probably can be hit by it 1/50 games

It's "trash" to survivors who wanted 60 seconds of invisibility now you have to play smarter with the perk.

And you can play smarter with monstrous shrine too, and this doesn’t change it’s a trash perk

I don't even run monstrous shrine because well yeah that's a trash perk as I can agree too.

Play smarter with the perk? To use this perk, you must intentionally handicap yourself. No healing yourself, no doing gens, no doing hexes, anything that furthers the match. Why. People already were able to just wait a minute and then come back, or just not tunnel, now you basically have to sit at hook or play with people who unhook infront of killer.

Surprised it hasn't come up yet (it was a pretty big change after all), but the gameplay UI was reworked in February.
The format you would've been used to back in December is gone. Now we have a different version with a hook counter and survivor portraits. If you've watched any DbD content from the last couple months, then you've likely already seen what the new UI looks like.

Mmr is live...no wait...keys got nerfed...no wait...we got a casual mode...no wait...swf got nerfed...no wait...meta perks changed...no wait...we got trickster and wraith and demogorgon got buffs and freddy got nerfed and ds got nerfed that is all😂

Nothing. The game its the same, new killers, new outfits and.... nothing else.

DS is specially designed as an anti tunnel perk. If you feel safe to do gens,totems or heal yourself than you're not being tunneled.

What if they just wait till the 50 seconds is up then come back? Or what if they wait till you try healing yourself which at most would be 30 seconds after unhook, is this not tunneling?
