What's a good survivor build which prioritizes yourself.
I'm at my breaking point, I feel like in most of my games I have to run the killer while doing objectives and unhook ppl at the same time. I'm just looking for a build where it will prioritize my survival cause I end up dying trying to be hero and save teammates whilst trying to pump out gens by my lonesome cause people have a phobia of generators.

I usually do spine chill, iron will, dead hard, left behind. Add in a key and it’s good to go. If the game is going super south you can hide from BBQ in lockers and let the team die. Most killers won’t bother trying to slug for the 4K. You can use a hatch offering instead of left behind as well.
If you don’t have a key, the next best bet is wake up instead of left behind. After the team is all dead, you just hide near a door and wait for the killer to find the hatch. Wake up + spine chill + resilience will have you opening the door before most killers can even get to the door. I usually bring a medkit in that case for the item.

Spine chill, alert, fixated, technician
Early detection, killer notification, allows for better positioning

There's a few builds you could try:
#1. The Last One Standing: Left Behind, Wake Up, Adrenaline, Spine Chill
#2. The Leech: Sole Survivor, Self Preservation, Desperate Measures, Empathy
#3. The Dodger: Dead Hard, Quick and Quiet, Sprint Burst, Urban Evasion
#4. The Buckaroo: Flip Flop, Boil Over, Decisive Strike, Power Struggle
#5. The Preservationist: Inner Strength, Unbreakable, Bite the Bullet, Iron Will

This build should be banned but Soul Guard, Unbreakable, Second Wind, Decisive Strike. The ultimate selfish second chance build that covers its weaknesses.

Dead Hard, Iron Will, Deliverance, Adrenaline.
Or one that I sometimes use when I'm feeling really desperate:
Plunderers Instinct, Appraisal, Dead Hard, Iron Will. Basically 2 meta perks, but also 2 perks to help you (with some luck) find a key in dire situations. Basically, when you've already done all you can to salvage the game but all survivors keep getting downed instantly and you know it's only a matter of time, go loot some chests.

Spine Chill, Iron Will, Dead Hard and Inner Strength.
If you don’t like Spine Chill or are bringing a med-kit instead of Inner Strength, take Fast Track to slam gens

Yeah most of the builds here are only “selfish” in that you are not bringing borrowed time which is the only perk you really need to be a team player in DBD.
I think builds that prioritize you winning a hatch game is the only thing that’s actually selfish. No build is really going to help you when the team is being massacred other than a left behind build or door opening build.

Why would u ever run spine chill with alert?waste of perk slot in my opinion.
@ OP If u are comfortable in chases u could use what i run mostly : DH/SB,IW,SpineC,Resilience

Okey let me give you some good build, they all supporting different gameplays.
Insane Healing Build: Botany + Self Care + Spine Chill + Dead Hard + Purple Medkit + Charge Add-ons. Make killer run around pallets, stun killer and heal yourself. If killer break pallet go to next pallet and do that again. With that build i am healing so many times myself in one chase.
Second Chances Build: Decisive Strike + Unbreakable + Deliverance + Dead Hard. Save one person on hook for Deliverance. And then you can use this build. All of them second chance. They will help you. But you have to be good at chases because they will just give you one chance to go next loop.
Sneak Build: Iron Will + Urban Evasion + Spine Chill + Sprint Burst. SC will give you alert when killer is coming you. So first crounch behind any wall, rock, tree. And then run with SB. And then crounch again to safe place. And killer will confuse. You can use this build if you are not good at chases.
Chase Build: Dead Hard + Spine Chill + Resilience + Self Care. This build will help you with chases. You will vault so fast. You can loop so well, this perks will help so much. And use Self Care when killer leave you and res yourself.
I can give you different builds too but for topic this builds will help. I hope they works for you.

It really boils down to being effective and watch yourself at the same time. My most effective solo build is:
Dead Hard, Kindred, Spine Chill, Borrowed Time.
I swap Kindred with different perks depending on my mood. DH, BT, SC is really all I need it seems.
Dead Hard, Self Care, Resilience, Bottany knowledge/Desperate measures I think is funny too sometimes.

Dead Hard, D-Strike, Resilience, and the last one is up to you. Whether you want to run OoO, Spine chill, or something else is up to you.

Iron Will, Resilience, Bond (I can't stress how underrated this perk is for solo q).
These are the 3 men perks I use, when solo q

I agree there are better choices for engaging with the killer, but I assume they are attempting to reach last Survivor options if not a team exit.
Spine chill for the heads up and late game gen devotion. Alert to reveal where/which way the killer to moving, letting you know where to rotate and keep maximum distance. If they are prioritizing survival then avoiding and tracking the killer is a good advantage.
Personally I don't use exhaustion perks as I find it easier to escape chase with other perks. I usually opt for bp bonuses otherwise.

Most of your builds seem decent, other than #3.
Dead Hard does not work with Sprint Burst.

If I'm playing to stay up I run Self Care, Desperate Measures, Soul Guard and Dead Hard. Beyond that it's map knowledge and playing smart.
You've got to survive so I can survive!

SB, Resilience, Spine Chill, and DS/ Self Care.
Do gens quickly, have a chase build, and a way to prevent being tunneled/heal yourself while doing everything 9% faster.

True, it's a meme-related build. Normally, you wouldn't put the 2 together, but under the idea of The Opportunist, you'd mix any ability at your disposal to get out of dodge.

I'm gonna be honest, none. The likelihood of you being the last survivor alive and getting hatch is lower than you helping your team to escape and thereby escaping yourself, even if you plan on becoming one of those incredibly toxic people that literally does nothing and let's their teammates die because even killers hate those survivors and will work together with the last survivor or two to hunt you down, which may be agaisnt the rules but as far as I can tell isn't enforced because even the Devs dislike that kind of Survivor.
So, just run strong perks hide from the killer and do gens and that'll give you the best chance of escape.
Edit: to clarify, I wasn't suggesting you're becoming that level of selfishly low as to literally do nothing at all, I'm just pointing out what I often see.

I think you meant solo queue, so I recomend 3 builds: B1( Solo Queue Survival)-Deliverance, Decisive Strike, Iron Will, Dead Hard. B2( +15% Vault Speed)-Iron Will, Dead Hard, Resilience, Spine Chill. B3( Solo Queue Vault Speed)- Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Resilience, Spine Chill.

If you're going full 'I'm getting out no matter who else does or doesn't': Spine Chill, Iron Will, Self-Care, Left Behind. With a dull or skeleton key, of course!

It is literally impossible to use Dead Hard in your #3... any time you're running and not exhausted, Sprint Burst will activate instead. I think Sprint Burst is probably the better one as a selfish perk. If you're near another player - being unhooked, healing pile, on a gen - Sprint Burst basically guarantees the killer goes after the other person and not you.
Your other builds are good, though Bite the Bullet's not exceptionally useful unless you bring a medkit or self-care; I think it and Inner Strength are a bit redundant together.

Yeah, I admit I misunderstood the perks for a moment there, sorry. I was actually going to write down an explanation as to why I said what I said after noting it was incorrect, only to find out that explanation was also equally as silly!
So, I have no defence :D

My favorite soloQ comfy build:
- Iron Will - obvious.
- Spine Chill - to start running away instantly when the killer approaches you.
- Bond - to see when the Killer is actually chasing someone else so you don't have to be falsely alarmed by Spine Chill. Also can be used with Iron Will to lose the Killer if you don't feel like continuing the chase.
- Self Care - because you can't rely on soloQ teammates ever. Can be changed for something else if you bring medkit of loot chests.
If you aim to escape often, pick Left Behind instead of one of those.
