The new killer (Nemesis)

what is your opinion on him? strong weak add on reliant?

Strong and Add On-reliant. The Add Ons to tier up faster when hitting Zombies or Survivors are pretty important on him. Like, the Tiers are fine, especially Tier 2 is strong (breaking Pallets). The Range-Increase of Tier 3 is also really nice, but you need to hit a lot of Zombies to get this. So while they help with buffing up, they are not really that helpful.

Those Add Ons might need to be nerfed and transferred to the Basekit, but currently I feel you want to run them when playing Nemesis (talking about Marvins Blood (yellow) and Tyrant Gore (green) here).

But Nemesis overall is a strong Killer, but I guess he will be annoying to go against on Indoor Maps because of the Zombies.

He's pretty balanced, must of his add-on's suck, and his power is kinda just a rehashed version of Plague and Pyramid Head in my opinion.

I think William Birkin, Jack Baker, or Karl Heisenberg would have been a better pick for an RE killer.

seems fun to play and fun to play against (aside from RNG downs with zombies)

not sure where he would be on a tier list, but he also seems strong enough

Relatively decent. He does seem like another "pallet = free hit" killer which is becoming a worrying trend but unlike Slinger or PP I actually really enjoy playing him. He can also use his whip out in the open without major punishment on miss/hit which is nice.

The zombies are fun, I hope they don't make significant nerfs to them.

People say add on dependant but Level 2 is the most important part of your power, 3 is negligible. Focus on 2, if you NEED 3 use Marvin's blood as 4 infections will get you to 3.

He's alright. I feel bad saying this but I'm pretty indifferent.

Same with Jill and Leon. They have like one good perk each. I love that they're in the game and will be using them both, just with other perks. What I love most about the pack is the map, but I've already exhausted all the oxygen in my lungs defending it from people who hate the words "indoors", "big", or "mazelike".

As a hardcore fan of RE7, I love Jack Baker but couldn't really see a place for him in this game. How would you design him?

i know but it still ptb and a lot of people addressed the problem you are talking about with the add ons the zombies are also pretty good for map pressure for example if you are on a gen or healing.

IMO i think he would be low a tier since the zombies can apply map pressure or waste good pallets also his tentacle strike can counter short pallet loops with longer pallets loops he is gonna struggle a bit since he is just a 115% speed killer that has no mobility but even then he is still a 115 speed instead of 110 which is gonna help him more then some other ranged killers but his range is not as long

heisenberg would be epic but RE8 laucnhed not that long ago and the dev team also works in the future just in case something happens like the lockdown still looks like a good chapter

i don't hope the zombies are gonna ruin the fun of playing against him since it can be annoying if you are working on a gen and there is a zombie so then you can't work on the gen still a good chapter overall they did a pretty good job so far

yhea the zombies are going to be frustrating for sure but i hope they do more with controlled AI to help the killers look cool the range increase of tier 3 is only 1m which is not that magnificent IMO i think they should make tier 3 have more of a impact still looks like a good killer

Zombies seem fun. Not as fun as trickster or twins though :P

I like him but his Pink addons are trash i hope the devs change than. They are not worth the price. The one that make 12 seconds of exposed after using a vacine is the worst.

He is strong killer but he needs some changes.

Most maps are big, i think 3 zombies will be better for him.

And Tier 3 is useless. And you can not get easyly Tier 3. So i think they have to add more powers for Tier 3.

Tier 3 needs to be considerably stronger (pun intended) and 1 extra Zombie wouldn't hurt. Also the initial contamination hit should not give a Survivor a boost of speed.

    Both incredibly fun to play as and against and is quite good once you fully grasp his power and know what to do with it. Overall, probably my new favorite killer to play, sorry Demodoggo. ;_;

You guys are really overfocusing on tier ups. Do the zombie range and speed addons. Tiers will come if you just play normally, but better zombies pay off dividends quickly.

They both infect survivors, infected survivors become weaker, infected survivors get some way to cure the infection.

The only difference is that Nemesis' infection is overall weaker, because he has Punish of the Dammed his tentacle attack to make up for it.

Infection is just what it's called, but the actual infection mechanics are completely different. The infection system for nemesis is a downside to his power, whereas the infection system for Plague is to her benefit. Plague's infection breaks you once you're fully infected, has no downside for Plague, spreads to other survivors and onto the environment, and cleansing it benefits Plague. Nemesis's infection meter is just a way for them to limit how strong his tentacle/zombies are. That's literally it. They didn't want the tentacle downing you in 2 hits, and they didn't want zombies downing you in 2 hits. If they removed the infection mechanic, it would buff Nemesis.

Besides the puking animation being the same, they have no similarities.

btw, his tentacle has a 0.35 second charge time and instantly flies out. POTD has a 1 second charge time with around a massive delay and cannot be flicked like the tentacle. they're very different powers, tbf. lol

but that just says more about pyramid's power being more of a zoning tool than a reliable ranged attack, lmfao. nemesis can guarantee a tentacle hit every time, which is awesome.

yes the one that makes people exposed is useless because if they use the vaccine they are save not only that but the twins had the same add on only then with victor gets crushed they get exposed and hey guess what they changed that add on

Overall pretty decent. Feel like an extra zombie should spawn on bigger maps and his tier 3 should be a little bit stronger but other wise he's in a good spot.

I can definitely see zombies becoming something that alot of people will to hate with the RNG aspect to them

I disagree with all the people saying he's dependant on Marvins blood or zombie heart.

2 Infections can get you to level 2 and at that point 3 is a negligible bonus.

Personally I think the way they designed Nemesis's power, it could've been any RE character, like they could make a Jack Skin for nemesis and the power will still make sense. Almost any character could have a skin on Nemesis and it would work. I find it silly that the people who all wanted not nemesis and acted like they were in the minority can't stop talking about how much they hate nemesis. Dont act like you were all for spreading good ideas and then when yours didn't come true act like a dickhead lmao. All he needs is some nice buffs and he would be a perfect addition, he isn't even very weak right now just average, a little below average. As an RE fan, im very happy with all the additions.

He is basically Pyramid head that needs to charge up his ability, so wherever PPhead sits on peoples tier lists
